I think the MacBook pro goes a long way of bridging the gap between windows and apple users such as myself...I perfer the windows OS for work/play, but I prefer the look of Mac laptops and computers. Hopefully in the comming months and years the price will go down further for the Intel-based comps
And what if (only after hell freezes over) MS and apple bridge the gap closer, with MS offering even more mac-based software (aside from just office), and Apple actually does offer users a choice of computers loaded with just OSx or BOTH OSX/<XP/Vista>. That would be quite nice, abeit expense

Microsoft quadrupled their Macintosh team a few months ago and built an entirely new Mac lab in Redmond (pics floating around on web somewhere).
Just yesterday Microsoft released a new wireless desktop for OSX, which is ugly of course.
