And 28AWG Cat6 is not limited to 20'. Panduit makes 28AWG Cat 6 in lengths up to 130' IIRC.

Anyone else using a Netgear router and using the built in OpenVPN service?
I often need to RDP into work machines from home, and never realized this was even a feature (Netgear R6400).
It works and works well! Surprisingly well, to be honest.
RDP is smoother than I anticipated, without having to pay $600/yr for TeamViewer.
I have a logmein account for one remote worker to access one machine, and the account allows access to two computers, so I may also use that as a backup if I can prevent the remote user from being bale to access the second machine. Not sure if that's possible, though...

OpenVPN is awesome. OpenVPN Access Server is pretty sweet if you ever find yourself needing a VPN solution in something like AWS/Azure/Datacenter. Access Server will support 2 simultaneous connections for free, after that it's pretty cheap to get a yearly 10 pack. Access Server even supports MFA (google authenticator).
If you are hard core you can role your own OpenVPN community edition and pay nothing.

RDP Question...
This is probably a "can't do that" scenario, but I have a few machines that I regularly RDP into. The machines I RDP into aren't even attached to a monitor (one may be, I have to check). The computer I am using to RDP from is a dual monitor workstation. Despite checking off "use all my monitors for the remote session", the RDP session only maximizes to the size of one monitor on the viewer computer. I cannot even resize the RDP window to stretch across both monitors.
Is there a way to be able to stretch the RDP session window across both of my monitors?

Support for multiple monitors is available when connecting from any Windows 7/8.1 computer, however, there are restrictions when connecting to a computer using multi-monitor mode. When connecting to Windows 7 computers, only computers that are running Windows 7 Enterprise or Ultimate can be connected to in multi-monitor mode. When connecting to Windows 8.1, only computers that are running Windows 8.1 Professional or Enterprise can be connected to in multi-monitor mode. Both Standard and Datacenter editions of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2 support multi-monitor mode.

Anyone recommend a good labeler/label tape for labeling equipment?
I have an old Dymo with "paper label tape" but it doesn't stick well to equipment (switch, NAS, Printer) etc. especially the stuff with a slightly rough texture.
Any good suggestions?

Has anyone taken online courses from udemy?
To be honest I have never taken any online classes. My attention span is awful, I don't know how much use I'd get out of some courses. But when they go on sale from $100+ to less than $15 for something like a very simple programming bootcamp or graphic design course, I get tempted.

Yes, did the A Cloud Guru AWS Achitect class and passed the test. If you go that route, buy the class on Udemy and then head over to A Cloud Guru site and transfer the purchase to that website. That way you are ensured to be watching the latest version of the videos.

Just an FYI Microsoft deletes Microsoft accounts due to inactivity. So what, why does that matter? Well when you install Office 2013 or 2016 you must associate it with an MS account to activate the license, so if you buy Office for your business and activate all the licenses under one generic BS MS account that you'll only use to activate your Office licenses, Microsoft may decide to delete your account and with it all of your Office licenses because you didn't regularly login to your BS MS account that you never wanted, never needed, and the forced you have in order to activate their de facto standard software.
It's happened to 3 of our clients so far. We have our clients MS account info saved, I went to log in to one and it says the account doesn't exist. WTF, I've got 15 Office licenses tied to this account, that's $3000 worth of software. Nope, they deleted it and all the licenses because, we didn't login and make skype calls to grandma, or pwn noobs on Xbox with this account or whatever the hell else people use an MS account for.
Luckily I got in contact with MS to see WTF is going on and they confirmed that yup they were deleted due to inactivity but somehow they were able to reinstate the accounts. I bet they keep deleted account info for along time for legal purposes. After contacting MS I was able to login to the account again and see all the licenses. Once I was logged in I could see that last time a copy of Office was activated was Jan 2017 (Thanks Trump) but MS says they close accounts after 5 years of inactivity. Bullshit
Pro-tip: Once you're logged into office.com, click on Install office and that will show you all the instances of Office associated with your account. You can view the product key for each instance, so it's probably a good idea to keep that info on file so when MS does eventually delete your BS MS account you're not totally fucked.
