You then said that I stole the opinion from them and that I was too dumb to come up with an opinion on my own and that they were wrong. Well as you can see here Engadget also has the same opinion as I do on the MB screens compared to the MBP that is they're the suxor!!! Now throw in this whole glossy only screen and I agree with them again that it is almost a deal breaker.
Wow...hold on much?

I hadnt remembered until reading this because I have other more important things in life happening.

And the jury decision still stands, You are a fucking idiot.

dang it, ordered it the day after it was released as soon as the store was back up, and it's still not here

tracking says it went from china, to japan, to alaska, to kentucky. Sure an odd path to get to Hawaii.

finally has a scheduled delivery date of tomorrow. Maybe I should've just gone to a store since I really didn't configure anything, but I guess I wouldn't have gotten the educational discount.

played with them at the store today. New touch pad takes a little getting used to, but otherwise man I love the new ones. so nice to hold.

yea, i bought it without even going to go look at it. I'm glad i've heard nothing but good reviews. It sounds like it feels more solid, and lighter than almost any other laptop.

I could've gone to check one out this past week, but since I already ordered it, I figure I want the first one for me to hold to be my own. I guess it's like waiting for marriage to lose your vcard, but on a much smaller scale

FYI Gizmodo just put up a post with confirmation from Nvidia that (as far as the hardware is concerned) on the fly GPU switching and simultaneous GPU usage is possible.

Apple isn't shipping these with the same GPU chip that was overheating in previous models, are they?

Also I teach one click unless the student just can't break their PC ways and i'll set the mouse up for right click.[ but honestly that has only happened like once]
I'm on my second mighty. The first one completely stopped working shortly after I got it. The one I have now will act up from time to time. Students are usually pretty hard on the equipment. The ones we have at school rarely function. Now when they go bad, they're getting replaced with some cheap HP 2 button mouse.

I think the track ball was a nice little feature. I just haven't seemed to have any luck with them.

Older video units were built into the logic board.

These units have 2 all newly designed GPUs.

I got my Macbooook

I shipped it to my office though, and am going to wait until I get home to open it. It is like christmas in October

I think this is my first brand new computer. Or well at least that I didn't have to build myself.

If Macs are SO great, why do they need keys? Shouldn't they just 'know' what I want to type and have it appear on the screen?

listen if Jobs went around pissing away all his secrets all at once, the company would be awesome for about a week. Keyless notebooks have actually been designed and function, it's just stipulated in his contract they can't be released until he either A: Dies B: Cuts everyone's hands off. lucky for us A is seemingly more likely.
