I hate how you can only watch the live event from an Apple device.. or Windows 10. I have neither.

I think one website said Safari's browser is the only one that works if you have neither, though I think waiting for someone to release the conference to YouTube is a better option.

So far, iWatchOS2 & the new iPad has been unveiled from what I've seen. 2732 by 24xx dimensions (I think, I may have misheard the presenter); 5.6 million pixels. A9X chip.

The woman who talked about fashion had a weird dress. I couldn't tell if I was looking at her nipples or if the dress was designed that way.

Any examples? Which reviews say that? The last time Apple was praised and noted for making their phones thinner was the iPhone 4. I will agree, that was a very noticeable and welcome difference. At the moment, the relentless pursuit of aesthetics dictates the entire mobile device market. Yes, a phone absolutely should be nice to look at and hold. But I'd rather have another 300-500 mAh than a 0.1mm thinner phone.

Also, Just like nobody wants a big phone, huh Steve?

Lame....

Yeah, who the fuck needs a stylus on a 3" phone. On a 13" computer sure. One that will breakdown to a single pixel.

A RG 6S and a SG 6S+ will be coming to my home shortly!

Tablets and phones are in a completely different place now then they were when that Steve Jobs / stylus pic was taken. Those rules do not apply anymore. Handhelds aren't merely about consumption these days, they create.

Unless you're against anything that's non-Apple, I'm trying to understand why you'd want to buy an iPad Pro over a Surface Pro...or even just a Surface 3. Unless you really want to play iOS games when you aren't being 'productive.'

That's dumb to limit your options and perhaps needlessly expend more money.

Not dumb at all. It's a choice everyone gets to make. I've never been "wowed" by any hardware MS has ever made.

Probably to drop the starting price to a very appealing $199. Most users won't and shouldn't opt for the 16gb.

Where are you supposed to store the $100 pencil when not using it?

MS can take the surface and shove it. If Apple had beat them to the content creating market first the Surface would have failed like most of the MS products that came before it.

How do you get the contract price through Apple's site? Looks like AT&T through Apple's site is either through Next or no contract.

Who gives a fuck so does what first? It's about who does it best.

Decades of MS, and I can say that imo they suck. And I no longer have ms anything. That's my preference based on experience.

What about AT&Ts website? I heard they like other carriers are getting rid of contracts

I wasn't the one who brought it up. Good for you, I suppose.

As a real fan of neither, they've tried to copy the SP3, and didn't do a very good job with it, IMO. We'll see how long they stay on this track.

Im not getting into the MS vs Apple fight, but I can tell you that I own and owned a lot of Windows and MS stuff. Apple just gets it right.

There was a bit I liked today. Going after the carriers with the lease plan is extremely smart. You'll see those carrier numbers plummet. That by far was the best announcement they made today. Basically you're paying $489 a year for a 64GB S+ and put it on whatever carrier you want.

The 6S and 6S+ are as expected, but they really do need to drop the 16GB option. I like that they sought out (or perhaps the other way around) Microsoft for the Office stuff. I think both know that's in their best interests.

I didn't like that they didn't up the RAM in the Mini. It still makes more sense to buy #2. I'm not understanding the appeal of the Pro, as stated above. I want to see more of the TV, but it's a pretty big price jump from the current. The watch is still meh.

6S+ 64gb in space gray for me.

I'm anxious to see how the pictures look. Should be great. One innovative thing on Apple's part is force touch, very curious to see how they implement it.

The TV is a $50 increase (for 32gb) over the 3G Apple TV for those of us who bought them when they first came out. It's not that big of a deal and see this thing becoming much more as the apps develop. Much like the original iPad.

The iPad pro is aimed at designers and artists. That will be its target market. Something such as the surface is geared towards office yuppies.

I'm looking more at current pricing. It's $80+. That's pretty steep, so I want to see just how worth it these apps are. The gaming holds little importance with me having consoles.

I work in healthcare, so there's no roads of entry for the iPad, as much as they'd like it to make. With something like the Surface (or any Windows-based tablet) I can remote into work. Can't do that with the iPad, or any Apple product at all. I was looking at a Macbook Pro a couple years ago, and with IE being discontinued for OSX, there wasn't a point of buying a more expensive laptop just to boot into Windows.

I wouldn't mind Apple making nice inroads into the healthcare field, but their prices dictate that's not going to happen. As such, the software that we run isn't going to make an effort to support it.

That's one thing underrated thing Apple does. They tell the carriers to go pound sand, and therefore aren't at the mercy of their bloatware and other BS. I've always liked that, and the lease plan is indeed a great idea.
