Disclaimer is that AT&T isn't crowded yet, but it is still nothing to laugh at.
One test done in the best spot possible, the only spot 100ftby100ft is all of the US.

When I see a non bias report that it has actually speeds then, I might believe it.

This is why ATT is about to kill themselves when JOD and FCC deny their takeover of T.

I never had this problem with my 3G. I went to the store yesterday and said it's a network thing or a problem with the microphone. Of course they said I had to go to the Apple store to see if they would fix it or replace it.

I bought it through AT&T so I'm a bit frustrated that I have to make an appointment at Apple now. They sell iPhones at this AT&T location so why couldn't they just swap it out for me there?

I found another apt source. I added this one and installed Siri0us and it worked. Voice dictation on iPhone 4

add the source below to Cydia

What's the difference between this and vlingo? The speaker on the keyboard readily available rather than entering the app? I'm still with 4.3.3. It says 5.0. Any issues?

EDIT: Yeah won't work with anything under 5.0

^It's based off of Siri voice dictation so it's iOS 5 only, it's the samething that's on the 4s and it's built into the normal keyboard, and can be used in any app. It should be exactly like what's on the 4s except it doesn't do the ask it questions part.

Tempting. Too bad it's a physical tether though.

And also, no guarantee you won't get dinged by the carrier. Actually, a very good chance you'll get dinged.

Since it needs verification back to the server to authenticate, I don't know if I trust it to be there in the future.

I wouldn't use anything tethering via ATT. You'll lose your unlimited plan and make you get a tethering plan. I don't tether anyways.

Yea read about that yesterday.

From what I can see, (but I'm not certain) the guy has an aftermarket back with the apple logo with Steve jobs face in it. Might be a cause for the battery to explode if improperly installed causing a short or what not.

I also do know that my iPhone 4 gets VERY hot in times of low or poor cell reception.

I wonder what the developers pay day for that was. Even though it got pulled the developers should still get paid, right?

I think AT&T only bothers to go after the heavy abusers. I've been tethering with them using MyWi for about 3 years now and I've never gotten a warning or message from them about it. I did it today and it worked fine. I don't use it often, it's only out of necessity, I always use wifi if I can.

It was like the Netportal app that came out back in the day on iOS 2. I had that and it was $10. It got put up then pulled later and came back up again and then pulled a few hours later, never to come back again.

No clue why a dev would take time to write a Tether app and no clue why it got approved.

Same here, no problems with iMessage. I did notice I started having major battery problems when I started keeping wifi enabled all day, turning it off resolved that issue.

Got a cool surprise today, but it might be because I didn't pay enough attention at the presser.

Sent a Cards card on Friday and got a message today telling me that it arrived at the local post office and should be delivered today. Cool.

Slow as shit, but cool. I'll have to remember to do it ahead of time if I do it again.
