Apple: iPad News and Discussion Thread
iOS 4.2 just went gold to developers! Should just be a matter of time before it leaks out for public download and I'm gonna jump on it as soon as it does

no, can't find an airplay button. But the video playback controls look slightly different
I don't have any airplay capable devices

I have the ipad. But I'm waiting to get my hands on a Samsung Galaxy tab, or Viewsonic Viewpad 7. The Viewpad 10 will dual boot android and Win7, but only Android 1.6. I heard that it may have Gingerbread with Win 7 Dualboot though.
yeah it's pretty sweet.
But this Airprint thing is part of itunes 10.1 which means yet another process to run in the background. I pray to god that iTunes doesn't have to be open to in order to print. I also want to know if airprint supports shared printers. I don't want to have to put itunes on my server in order to print from it, if I could choose my shared printers that are on my server via my desktop PC that'd be OK. Still don't like the idea of another process running, I wish it used native printing support

I haven't had any issues with my apps yet not supporting multitasking. I would think that these universal iPhone/ipad apps that if they support iOS4 then they should work fine on the iPad.
I wonder if Limera1n works?

Yea I want to try the galaxy tab as well. But I feel like 7" might be too small. (that's what she said)

That's really my only complaint..not being able to multi task.
