Anyone foresee ipad deals for black friday? I see apple has refurb mini 2 for $250. Seems like a good deal. I'm thinking of getting 2 or 3 of them for my kids.
Is that Target deal with the giftcards in store only? Do they give the giftcards right away or do they come in the mail? I see they have mini 2 for $300 then $100 gift card. Would like to buy 3 then use the 3 gift cards towards buying an Air 2.
New screen is nice, curious why it took so long to fuse the layers of the screen. I thought they did that ever since the iPhone 4. Glare reduction is noticeable but doesn't completely eliminate it.
Pages load a little faster, and the 2gb ram means Tabs are reloading a lot less often on me. That's always been an issue for me since the first iPad, this seems much better than the air which was better than the previous models.
So far the extra RAM is my favorite part about it.
If anyone is still looking for a deal on iPads checkout Staples. I just got a mini 2 for $239. They also have Air gen 1 for $319. My Staples did not have it in stock but they ordered it online for me at the same price with free ship.
Check online to see if your local Staples is running this deal.
I'd like to see them come up with some kind of storage compression that would compress stuff that hasn't been accessed in sometime, such as old photos, and maybe even apps.
Also they need to ditch the 16GB iPad. 16GB has never been a problem for me, but my kids managed to fill their iPads almost immediately.
6P is way too big for me for everyday use.. I'm still rockin' my 5S but would like an iPad Air2 for the plane ride.. (aka for Clash of Clans and... other activities... )
That trackpad keyboard thing is pretty cool. Seems no apps except builtin ones support multitasking view so not very useful right now. Is it possible to have two Safari tabs open at the same time or just two apps? Doesn't seem like you can...
Geekbench results show that the iPad Pro's A9X processor is a dual-core chip running at about 2.25 GHz, as reported by Ars Technica.
The A9X chip had a 3,233 single-core score and 5,498 multi-score score in browser-based CPU tests, outperforming the iPad Air 2 and other recent iPhones and iPads by a significant margin.
iPad Pro also outperformed the 12-inch Retina MacBook, equipped with an Intel Core M dual-core processor clocked at 1.1 to 1.2 GHz, but the A9X chip's CPU performance falls short of devices like the 2015 MacBook Air and Surface Pro 4 with Intel's latest Broadwell or Skylake U-series processors.

The iPad Pro's GPU performance is much more impressive, with GFXBench OpenGL test results showing the A9X chip outperformed the 2015 15" Retina MacBook Pro with Intel Iris 5200 integrated graphics, in addition to the 12-inch MacBook, 2015 MacBook Air, 2015 13" Retina MacBook Pro, Surface Pro 4 and all recent iPads.
