The fact that they're announcing them now instead of waiting until the 25th means that the announcement is going to be all about their new TV service, and news service. They dont' even have time to hype up these new iPads

On the iPad, if someone sends you a picture in iMessage hidden in invisible ink how do you view it in full screen. Since there’s no 3D Touch you can’t hard press, long press, and double tap both do the same thing and neither open it full screen sooooo...
multitouch doesn't work either

If you have a 2nd gen Apple Pencil charging near your car key fob, it may cause your key fob to not work.

its currently an accessibility feature, nice to know.

for sure I’ll be using my 10.5” iPad more.
It’s not an elegant solution but using the Lightning to USB 3 Camera adapter you can connect an external drive to the 10.5” iPad Pro.
You can also view and edit stuff directly off the drive. No need to copy to the iPad first.

Got my iPad 2019 yesterday. 128GB, WiFi only.
Up and running quickly from iCloud backup and settings transferred via NFC from my iPad Air 2.
Larger screen is welcome, much faster performance is very evident.
Very happy with it.

ipadOS is buggy as hell.
They also made safari much more desktop like in functionality which screws it up in terms of user friendliness on an iPad.

the new LiDAR camera is pointless for me.
6GB of RAM across all models would be nice I suppose.
maybe i'll look for a 2018 12.9 for cheep.
Than again i hardly use my 10.5 iPad Pro. so maybe i'll wait for the updated 13" MBP or an updated Mac Mini.

Im keeping my 2018 11 inch pro. I don't see a reason to go to the 2020 model for now. Yea, bought the keyboard, trackpad thing. It looks interesting enough.

oof... no keyboard shortcuts to quickly adjust things like volume, screen brightness and playback controls?
my cheapo $90 laptop style case for my 10.5" iPad Pro has those and I use them all the time. Same on my Mac.
And it looks way awkward to use on the lap.

I was just given an iPad pencil that works with my iPad Pro. my client had purchased the wrong pencil since she had the old iPad Pro and it had apparently been sitting in their house for years.
I offered to buy it from them but she just save it to me. IDK how much I'll use it but the handwriting tech is really cool. I'm using it now to make this post

I have the pencil for my 10.5 pro. I’ve only used it for photo editing with affinity photo.
