Is it based on how many Pixel devices you bought in the past?

I've only ever bought the Pixel 5 and prior to that, the Galaxy Nexus.

 

I've only had the Nexus 6P and the Pixel 3.

 

No one knows what it's based on, seems somewhat random to me.

I've had the N6P, P2XL, P3 (wife's), P3XL, 2xP5 (wife and mine), Pixel Buds 2, and a bunch of G-Home/Nest devices. Before all that I had the Samsung GS4 Google Play Edition.

So there is a thread about it on Reddit and lots of people are annoyed cause all the group is is a private Facebook group. If you don't have Facebook you can't join. At this point, I am not even sure I would join if I hear back I try and use Facebook as little as possible anymore.

In other Pixel 6 news Spigen cases are already on Amazon. I ordered mine for the 6Pro it should be here tomorrow.

I also got invited to view the live stream pixel event for tomorrow.
it's through a third-party platform called crowdpurr.

being the geek that I am, I tested out the code on the crowdpurr link that they sent.
I was assigned a random ass nickname and I was redirected to a homepage, or landing.
this "playground" is a trivia game..

but it wasn't live yet....perhaps tomorrow it'll go live and you can play in the "playground"

except my geeky ass saw another button that said, "want to choose a new nickname?"
I said, fuck yeah, take me to your leader.

now my code doesn't work and i am no longer allowed to enter the playground/view the live stream.

I got invited too, it filled up in an hour but was just a private stream of the public stream so didn't seem like a big deal. The facebook group is way less douchey than I thought, certainly better than the Tesla facebook groups I'm a member of lol.

 

It's weird I have the event RSVP but don't have access to the Facebook group yet.

Funny that the Tesla group is worse than the Pixel group.

Is a 6 Pro really worth the price diff vs a regular 6?

 

To me yes. Zoom camera, more ram, larger battery, better screen, less screen border, and the white color I want with the polished silver frame which I like.

 

That said it went from R013 error for me to sold out so I will give up for the day. Guess I won't be getting it on release day. #P6PReleaseFail

$899 for the Pro is less than I expected tbh.

$250 on trade for the Pixel 5 is a joke though.

Finally managed to get a white 256gb Pro. Be here in two weeks. Forgot to select expedited shipping which normally knocks 3-4 days off it if you don't get the very first shipping date window.

 

Just ordered a Regular 6 Seafoam for my GF..... a huge upgrade from her Oneplus 6T...

 

Was going to order P6 Pro last night but all they had was the black one so I thought I'd wait until morning to see if stock refreshed or whatever. Checked this morning and they're out of stock of everything in the unlocked bucket.

Yep. They should be here Friday. The phone is due here next Wednesday - unless Google changes the ETA of course.

 

Now they have the black and yellow ones back but I really want the white one...good thing I'm not in a hurry lol.

I ordered/canceled so many times on google because I didn't know about the free buds, by the time i canceld my original order that was schedueld for 10/28 and placed a new order with the buds, the delivery date was changed to Nov....

I aint having that.. so i canceld that and changed the color and it was delayed more

At the end i canceled all of them on google and bought it from Bestbuy That had the color, delivery date and ear buds i wanted.
MY CC company froze my card due to suspicious activities

 

My buds date got pushed back now showing Saturday - Tuesday but were supposed to be here Friday as well when I ordered. I will take that though since my phone ship date moved forward.

Don't even know if I will keep or sell the buds since I already have the Pixel Buds 2.

 

Christmas is coming, wrap it up and give it to someone...
