It was a bit over the top I guess; but considering players mock other players all the time, I don't think it was that bad. It just looked a lot worse after the fact because the kicker whiffed the ensuing kick off and Johnson dropped 2 or 3 balls after that.

I guess the penalty was fair. But the people on ESPN are really overeacting about it. One guy says the Jets should cut him which seems like overkill to me. If think Johnson needs to be cut for that, then Suh also needs to be cut.

If a guy on ESPN said the Jets need to cut Stevie Johnson, my bet would be that it was Skip Bayless, because Skip Bayless is the dumbest motherfucker on TV.

Well, Johnson got his karma by dropping that throw in the waning seconds...if he caught that pass, it was probably a TD.

conformity is for the NCAA... these people are paid to fucking entertain me...

dance monkey dance i say...
why do they try to portray the NFL as some sophisticated office job...

entire offenses used to do synchronized dances in the endzone and nobody had a problem with it.. now if a player pretends to shoot himself... he should be fined and thrown off of the team..

fuck you NFL.

Haha you got that right, Bayless is a dumbass. I wanted Bosh to clock him in the face when Bayless called him Posh Spice.

I liked the way Plaxico handled it after the game. He had every right to lash out out but took the high road.

I'm sure all the northern Californians are just as annoyed having a stupid charger cheerleader in their midst. But look at the bright side...at least u don't live in san diego surrounded by a bunch of crybabies!

Your a funny guy.

Even though I still hear Raider fans crying about the patriots game o so many years ago.

Like I said who was crying, I wasn't crying about the Broncos beating us, they let Tebow run 85 yards on them in total, and Rivers isn't playing like he usually does plus with all the injuries, I'm pretty sure we will be in 4th place at the end of the season, if some reason were not I'll be in shock I give it up to the Broncos, they are actually trying to do something this year.

T.T. is basically the Broncos.

I looked up the guy that said Johnson should be cut, and it was Merrill Hodge that said it. Even Hannah Storm said that was pretty harsh.

Eventhough it was Hodge, I bet Bayless probably agrees with him 100%

Link to Bills fans sounding off on how ridiculous Hodge's comments were.

Yep,I especially liked when Plax just said "...He dropped 3 footballs" He could have said much much more, but left it at that.

Basically, karma came back and bit Johnson in the ass. Plax had the last laugh while Johnson had 3 drops. Plax won, Johnson lost, end of story. No need to cut him, just a learning experience for a young receiver.

Merrill Hodge is a punk, he talks out of his ass to make himself bigger than the story itself. I remember him saying Tebow wouldn't do anything in the NFL. Not saying Tebow is the next coming of Steve Young. But he's proved that he has something to win in the NFL.

He's an idiot for sure. As is any player that celebrates when their team is losing. Just like those idiot lineman that dance after a 2nd down sack and then give up a 1st down on 3rd and long.

These guys are paid to win games and perform their skill set. They aren't paid to do ridiculous celebrations.

It's a team sport and most of these players care more about their personal stats than winning games.

^^^Giants loss is good for Niners...

Ravens exposed all of the key weaknesses of the Niners. Sure, it doesn't help that our OL (with Snyder out) was on the field like 45 minutes during the Arizona game but I still think they would've punched through with over 4-5 sacks - that's enough to push Alex further into his tunnel vision.

The Steelers game will show if we've learned anything.

I bet Hoge wouldn't cut Suh and he's been constantly fined. Hoge was a FB so he probably doesn't care for diva WR's.

Jags stadium lease runs until 2027. Unless revenue predictions at the new LA stadium are high enough and/or Kahn can get get a good deal on buying out the lease, they probably won't be moving.

Why is it that Green Bay can support a team and not Jax? I was born there and I know it's a huge city. Are they not sustaining attendance? Doesn't the salary cap model of the NFL help? Or is it that the owners forced Weaver's hand because they want #2 TV market money?
