Whatever, he brought some of it on himself with his demeanor and attitude. And nothing speaks forgiveness like winning...just look at the rapist QB starting for the Steelers.

Just because someone is accused doesn't mean they did it and athletes and entertainers are the biggest targets for these types of accusations. As much attention as this got from the authorities and the NFL if the accusations were true he would have been convicted he wasn't so leave it alone. That means he's as much of a rapist as you are.

Agree, and I don't even like Ben R.

How easy people forget.
Like I said, a rapist. He's just forgiven because he's a football star who well, has a Superbowl ring.
Personally, I think he deserves to be playing on the Bengals (cuz, it fits their culture) and or serving a sentence or two. But, what do I know about justice...?

I'm just saying with all the attention these accusations got they weren't swept under the rug somewhere if there was sufficient evidence then he would have at least went to trial and at worse been convicted but neither happened so as far as I'm concerned it didn't happen the way it was portrayed.
#2785
I say that the latest one this year in Ga. that the cops were assholes to start with and then bad at doing their jobs.
and he's white
and he's white

Sorry bud. If he were neither of those, he'd be in jail. And honestly, it helps he's white and rich. ALOT.

I think just the combination of being rich/successful alone is enough. Weren't there people who held out hope for OJ Simpson?
and Kobe Bryant?
Most of the people who hate Kobe already hated him to begin with. Most of the people who like him to this day liked him before the whole rape allegations. Also, there were witness testimonies (coworker of one of the "victims") that she bragged to her friend about sleeping with Rothslihehkkfasdhaburger and joked about having his babies.
another one: Brady walked out on his girlfriend who was pregnant with child (though some people argue that she probably just stopped taking birth control for his good genes)
People will believe what they want to believe. Steelers fans will agree with the evidence that he was probably set up. If you told Yummy that Brett Favre was actually an alien from outer space and had a Hitler-like following and planned to exterminate the human race, he'd believe it too

^ Hang on, Costco...I don't "hate" Big Ben like I do with certain other things I go spewing about.
Let's just be clear. I just think he deserves to be in jail. He was caught with pretty good evidence...
This is not about something Packers/Dikings-related. Not the same thing.

Brady did nothing wrong lawfully. It was unethical...yes. Not unlawful.
Beef? Well, he deserved the crap he got...and WTF would he cheat on Vanessa? He's an idiot.
And yes, I hope Clemroids and Flaxseed burns in the court and then in jail.

Listen I'm not white and trust me I know there are many times when that happens but even with the best attorney's you can't make 3 go away. Also with all the widespread negative publicity he would have at least went to trial but no that didn't happen so I'm not inclined to believe the race argument in this case.
#2792
dunno, I don't particularly care for the Steelers or Big Ben, and I haven't followed the allegations too closely. I don't follow basketball too much either, but Lakers fans are still proud and happy that Kobe is on their team. I don't think race matters as much as success/popularity itself. Anyone remember Rae Carruth? No? Exactly. Where's he at? In jail, of course.
OJ was sort of an example, the difference is that is that he murdered someone, and it's quite obvious.
Being white does help his case.... a little. I agree with you to a point but its not a HUGE reason why. Caucasians do tend to get away with a lot of things. After 9/11 a lot of people with Middle-Eastern descent, Muslims and even Indians got treated unfairly. Some people were like "oh my gosh, that Arab guy could be a terrorist!" but after the Jared Loughner deal no one thinks "oh my god, that white guy could go on a shooting spree!"
The big problem I have is that this is just opening a can of worms that I'd prefer to stay away from.

I'm not saying he wasn't a morally reprehensible person in those instances. But what we have is someone accused of these things. A very large guy an a tiny girl putting away alcohol at the same rate is always a bad result waiting to happen.
As for the first one, you have a sworn statement by an individual that the woman bragged about having consensual sex with him. In the second, it's quite probable that he took advantage of her while she was in no state to agree or disagree, and got sober real quick when she hit her head.
Let's try to look at facts and not be so over the top.
#2794
He did this is your state, I think you'll know more than I do about this, but didn't law officers lose their jobs for being involved with him during the assault down there?
For anyone to force themselves on another and use others to do so, it's rape, no two ways about it. He may not have been charged, but it's pretty clear as to what he did.
OJ was charged and tried, but everybody sure as hell knows he did it.

One resigned, but not because he was involved in an assault.
It's actually very unclear what happened. Most people are going to believe he did something, and that's natural. I can only go by what the law says. To be frank, I don't believe the girl knew what happened, because she was fall on your ass drunk. But it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Well if nothing happened, he wouldn't have taken the NFL suspension w/o any fighting back, nor agree to "change his ways" and go to "comprehensive behavioral evaluation". THE NFL investigated this more than the GA. authority's.
I believe the woman told him no, but he did anyways, to me that is rape, and just about anyone would be arrested and tried for that. He's famous, rich and white, that's why it didn't happen.
Not to mention that these women were under legal drinking age and he wasn't even charged for buying it for them.
