Damn broncos. Couldn't even pull off a win against the Rams? Sam Bradford is looking to be a beast though, the last 5-6 drafts actually have spawned quite a lot of potential perennial Pro Bowl QBs.

Not really NFL news, but a writer in Miami tweeted that Miami(FL) is hiring Gruden as their new head coach.

I don't get how the Chargers usually does quite well against a tough team like the Colts (and IN Indianapolis), but they'll lose against a crappy or mediocre team at home?

John Gruden made a statement and said he's committed to MNF

Finnegan kept taunting him with cheap shots all game. I was there in the stadium. Johnson finally had enough when Finnegan grabbed Johnson's facemask at the scrimmage line.

Don't worry, it'll be all over ESPN and NFL Network this week.

Strange? I follow a few local writers and Luke from 2 Live. He actually was the first tweeter to break the firing story like 30 mins before the newspaper texted me. Who was this writer?

Thanks!

The conditions may have played to Chicago's advantage. Not sure if the Eagles were ready for a soggy field. That definitely slowed down Vick...

And who would've thought that Cutler would have the game of his life as a Bear with 4 TDs...?

The only thing stopping it from being a perfect NFL weekend was the Dikings won.

And Parker too. Hope they can play Thursday night against Houston. I do have to hand it to da Bears for exploiting the secondary the way they did. I don't think they reel off as many big plays with Samuel/Parker in ther. Also for their defensive line and its pressure on Vick. That interception at the end of the 2nd half was a real killer.

I think your team should start Jackson for the rest of the season just to see if he's legit or not.

Then again, I'm sure Favre is back next season and the season after that...so, nevermind.

"To T.O. calling Ben soft all I can say is "That's my teammate, that's my quarterback" As i cry and my lips quiver. Wait that was him. Lol''

--@ryanclark25, Pittsburgh safety Ryan Clark, on Wednesday, in response to Terrell Owens questioning the toughness of Ben Roethlisberger for being knocked down by Richard Seymour, and referring to the time when Owens, then with Dallas, defended his quarterback, Tony Romo, emotionally from what he perceived to be attacks from the media.

I would have loved to see the outcry if brees, brady, or one of the manning girls got sucker punched like that. Regardless, Ben is a beast and keeps playing through injuries all the time. Getting sucker punched in the jaw will make most people go down when they're caught off guard. I would love to see TO cry if something like this happened to him, he's the biggest little bitch in the game. Not to mention, Ben has 2 SB rings and a winning season, what's the bengirls record again with the 2 biggest drama queens in the NFL? Just sayin...

the Chargers have started off slow for the past few seasons, only to surge hard mid-late season, well into the playoffs.... ultimately they end up being beaten by the hands (or leg, rather) of a single man.

Saw the highlight of the Bills/Steelies tilt...

Wow, Pittsburgh should write a thank-you card to Bills' WR Johnson...

The were glorifying the Chargers Oct and Nov season record earlier on NFL Live. Something like 25-2, doesn't mean crap, because they can't get pass the first round of the playoffs.

Uh, t-Jack was our starter. For some time. He was and is terrible. T-jack was Childress's guy and his guy only. Now that Chili is gone, Jackson will forever be backup until his contract is up.
IF there actually is a season next year, Favre will not be our quarterback. I make few guarantees, but this is one of them.
