Yeah the hit on the ref was pretty funny but not as bad as the hit A-pete put on Gray on one of his last runs. Good god! He hit the dude head on, made him look like a bobble head and lifted his feet off the ground and got like 5 more yards!

I missed a lot of last season so this is kinda old, but I see it during the 49ers commercials. I wish I saw this hit live. Brad Smith looks like he died for a moment

Yeah that hit on Gay was one of the best I've seen in a while. The audio was great at the end of the run

I'm not saying that the Saints nor the Colts didn't work for the win nor play foul. But it's really a good chance any NFL team will win if they're up 24-3 with 5 seconds left in the 1st half. Obviously part of the comeback was the Saints playing Saints ball. But damn it, the Fins made wayyyyyy too many mistakes that a team above mediocore wouldn't have made. You guys capitalized on them and that's what an elite team does. And we blew the game because we're below medicore. But if you spot an NFL team that kind of lead, they're likely to win. And again, I never thought that they didn't earn/deserve/work for what they got. Saints most definitely deserve it. The Fins were happy to oblige. FML
damn wildcat offense gave us trouble at the beggining

One of the Saints' few weaknesses is their run defense per carry. They didn't give up a lot of rushing yards before Sunday because when you have a big lead, your opponent doesn't have time to run. Also our D made some plays that made you guys look human on offense and we have a crappy secondary. I don't know the X's and O's on what they did, but I'm sure plenty of coaches will watch film from our game. Speaking of which, NFL Network is replaying this debacle tonight at 8.

Their rush defensive yards was down at 24th which you think would be lower with Haynesworth. So Blache seems to be doing okay. I thought I read that he was going to be named interim coach but rejected it so if Zorn was to be fired midseason, the secondary coach would do it.

Campbell is a downright horrible qb, just sayin

His o-line is porous, and his receivers suck too. You hear me, Santana?

^^^ O line is trash and the recievers don't suck. They are just average. Santana is a great reciever but IMO not a #1 reciever. They need someone who is larger to be a No.1 target. That way when they double the No.1 target Santana will be manned up and they're aren't too many people who can check him one on one. He proves that time and time again when he is being checked one on one.
Jason Campbell isn't a horrible QB either but he lacks pocket prescence. He is so worried about getting hit that he doesn't scan the field and misses out on wide open people. The game against the Eagles he missed wide open recievers several times. He needs to learn to sense when people are rushing and where they are rushing from.
Clinton Portis is done. He is no longer an every down back. They had 2 great running backs (Marcus Mason and Anthony Aldridge) who were fast who would have complimented him perfectly and added that explosive factor but they put them back on the practice squad. Why? I dont know. But its fuckin stupid to have two of the same type of back running the ball (Ladell Betts and Portis).

^ I kinda disagree about Portis. I still think he is a very good RB...but, that being said, there are FEW RBs out there nowadays that can run without an O-line with success (i.e. Sanders, Payton). I can't really think of one...Peterson may be the closest but we'll never be able to tell since the Dikings have such a great O-line and creates holes larger than the grand canyon for him.

Agree to disagree I guess. I see Portis play every Sunday (being a Redskins fan) and he runs into the back of linemen when he can easily go around. He's lost his break away speed and his ability to juke and cut. I'm not saying he sucks I'm just saying that he isnt the same back anymore. Perfect example, when they were playing the Chiefs dude broke loose on that 78 yard run and ALL he had to do was cut back for the TD. Portis decides to run the other way into his blocker. The Skins need a RB tandum. Portis is a power runner now, they need someone who can move and shake and make plays when it looks like there isnt one to be made.

^I agree to an extent. He has lost some of that breakaway speed, versatility in the open field, and durability he had in Denver and when he first came over to the Skins. I agree with Yummy too that it's difficult to assess the quality of an RB when the O-line is that bad. A stellar O-line can make an average RB into an All-Pro, i.e. Waters and Seattle a few years back.

I also agree about the O-line, but after watching campbell in a couple games, his performance is laughable and embarassing, he's downright terrible IMHO

^ You would a basketcase QB too if you knew that you'd have no hope of surviving in the pocket because your O-line is so porous...Nothing like holding onto a football knowing some huge-@$$ linebacker is going tear your head off...

I didn't pay much attention to last season (worked every Sunday, all-day and school every Monday night) but what happened with the Titans anyway? They lost Haynesworth, who no doubt is a force, but there's no way he's solely responsible for the fall. Was there something else?
