I didn't watch the 49ers game because I was stuck at work. I could not believe it. When I saw the game recap on NFL Total Access I was like WTF? That was totally a Favre play. Pulled that one out of his ass and somehow made it happen. It was a damn good throw though, but I think if I watched it until the end I would have been pissed.
It was pretty funny though, these drunk dudes at the bar across my work were jumping and yelling I think after they blocked the FG and Nate Clements recovered it for a TD. Still think he's way overpaid but at least he's doing something.
oh and wtf is with those Seahawks alternate uniforms?? were those unis dedicated to crossing guards? It hurt my eyes to watch even on TV. never seen them before, and now I know why

How do you figure? Denver came and won it in the clutch against the shitty team that is Cinci. Guess that doesn't speak too highly for the Steelers, so I will give you that, as I hate the Steelers.
Broncos off to a 3-0 start, and with the next 5 games could easily go 3-5.

I heard it from a local Steelers fan. Glad to hear it's not widespread douchebaggery.

Anybody think the Browns will go 0-16?

on to the next one...
I'm just here for my weekly gloating.
I said earlier that I wasn't a huge fan of the Favre signing, but that it would win us one more game this year.
I guess yesterday was that game...
Next Monday night should be fun!

I can only hope the two teams destroy themselves in their efforts to come out with the W.
And no, I cannot pick who to root for. I hate both teams equally and unequivocally. But, I think the Cheeseheads have a chance if they can stop AP. Favre's luck will run out...he's Tony Romo with gray hair; and as we've all seen, one good game will eventually lead to a 12 INT stinker.

The Vikings are the asshole of the league with a giant sphincter as QB. I can't put them on the same level as the Bears. I only hate the bears when we play them.

Yep, the whole stairway to 7 thing came out right after they won 6, never took off reall though. Never heard the song though, pretty gay
Not as gay as the bears fans though at least :gheywave:

I'm guessing you haven't seen any of our games this year (not that I would have expected you to...) because he just doesn't go deep like his interception throwing/risky passing days of yore. 95% of his passes so far this year are for 8 yards or less. He's only had three 20+ yard pass attempts. Favre might be the QB, but this is still AP's team all the way, and we are a running team.

But, really...you should move on to the fact that the Steelies lost to a team full of criminals and with a RB castoff not even Chicago wanted.

The Pack let a nobody on the Rams run for 125 on 25 carries...

Anyone thinking Favre will take the Dikes to the promised land is smoking bad pot. The offense revolves around AP who is probably the best RB since...Sweetness.
So, yeah...stopping him is no easy task. Still, it is doable. SF sorta kinda did it yesterday.

Our Line is the sux...I like how when given somewhat of a hole (on a short pass) forte shows his worth, so at least we know we havent been bens-boozled. But with that line, getting pushed back on almost every single play, dont get your hopes...lol....

Give them some time. I think the running game will come. I hope.
