Anyone see that Richard Seymour personal conduct foul against the Broncos? He ended up pulling Ryan Clady's hair, and then there was some big confrontation in the Oakland locker room with a reporter. I hope the asshole gets a big fine and a several game suspension for that conduct, that is absolutely sickening. Fuck the Raiders, they're bound to go 2-14 if they can manage a win of KC again this season.

Pennington is out for the year. No offense to Henne, but we just lost our MVP runnerup. Our season is f'ed. I wonder if Pennington is done since it's the same shoulder. I'll check the paper when I finish my bfast.

Don't let go of him. He's going to recover fine and next season he's going to have a killer year, and then win the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, again. Then he'll hurt his shoulder somehow and be out for the year........ again.

And you guys might have found a decent WR for once in Johnny Knox. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until he blows both knees up Wendell Davis style

Wait, what? I was talking about turning JaMarcus into a blocking tight end or some other. He's already got the stature, did you see him throw those blocks out in open field against San Diego? He took one guy out completely and went for another. It was the most impressed I've been with him since he's been in the NFL! I think they should invent a new position for him on the Raiders, knowing how Al Davis is a pioneer and all - the blocking QB. Once again, like I said.... he has a chance to be one of the best ever, period.

Russell has as good of a chance being a "great one" as Tony Romo being better than Aikman or Staubach.

running game looked very impressive even with the 3rd stringer...imagine if barber was in..he would have punished poor carolina!! defense finally played to their expectations and romo had a good game too!

^ Romo had a "safe" game. The guy dinked and dunked his way for the whole game. The fact that he couldn't get a TD on the 1 yard line showed how tentative he was IMO.
More than anything, I think Dallas owes a big thank-you to Delhomme.

^THIS. Actually Carolina as a whole did shitty. Steve Smith had a couple Ugh Oh moments too. And Choice looked ready to play after Jones went down. I think Jones has an MRI today, but Dallas should have 3 good healthy backs next week.

first off they shouldnt have even been throwing from the one yard line when they were running all over carolina..that goes to show you how bad the play calling is and thats the first step to improving your team...the O line never let romo get set to even make good throws and when they did he would show signs of being a top QB in the NFL
and dallas secondary was all over the receivers yday and the D line never let Delhomme get set to throw so i give more credit to the defense than Delhomme

An "elite" QB would've found a way to get the TD thrown.
Again, I didn't watch the whole game...but, for the plays I did catch, I thought Romo looked nervous. The guy was clearly scared to throw an INT and so, was going for the safe play all game...and that was short yardage to Whitten. He dinked and dunked more than Orton did as a Bear (and now a Bronco)...

good ole roy williams dropped romos first pass that hit him right in the hands so i dont completely agree ....as far as playing scared i dont know about that when he made throws like the across his body, across the feild throw to choice late in the game..i felt he made plays when they were needed and when he didnt HAVE to make plays he let his teammates make them.
we could argue this all day lol and you ahve just a valid point as i do

Choice and jones both played solid. With how bust the Panthers' d-line is, barber would have had a field day.
Srsly, the boys were running all over carolina. WTF was garrett thinking?
Williams was 2 feet above the d-back and the ball hit him right in his hands. His bad for dropping the ball. It was pure filth in the 4th quarter when romo scrambled to the right and threw off his back foot across his body across the field to tashard. Favresque. Romo is only in his 3rd year and his win-loss record is pretty sick. I'm as bitter as any other diehard cowboys fan that he hasn't delivered in the playoffs but the boy has game and potential and i'm more than happy to wait him out. I've been more than patient with f-ckin carter, hutchinson, bledsoe, henson, etc.

exactly aikman sucked in the beginning and once he got the surrounding pieces he got sooo much better so once romo gets a receiver that isnt a drama queen and one that can actually catch the ball he'll be a shit ton better and a O-line that will give him more than 2 secs to throw and a goddamn coach that can call correct plays!!

Romo isnt the best GB in the league but all the support in his team got him where he is right now good RBs WRs are Ok TE are ok and the O-Line is good too but he gotta suck it up and stop throwing so much INTs still i dont think Dallas are going to be in the SUPER BOWL this year ..... GO 49ers!

the O-line is a great at run blocking i wouldnt say that great at pass blocking...the wr's are average at best...his TE is one of the top 5 in the league and has great running support but he is the same as every other QB in the league and needs time to throw...you would be surprised as to how much he has to scramble around during a game and try to pull plays out of his ass and completes alot more of those plays than most other QB's would
