I really thought the Fish was doomed with Pennington's injury. As for the Bolts and Steelies...it was a tossup and I just thought that Pittsburgh was reeling...

Did Mr. Romoverrated forget it was 4th down...?

From CNNSI...

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is getting a lot of criticism for throwing consecutive passes to fourth receiver Sam Hurd against Denver standout cornerback Champ Bailey on third and fourth down to end the game in Sunday's 17-10 loss. Is is possible that Romo didn't know it was fourth down? Following the final incomplete pass to end the Cowboys hopes, a video caught on KDFW Fox-4 shows Romo seemingly telling his linemen to line back up. He then flashes three fingers to one of the game officials. After hearing the response, Romo screams and walks off field. If true, Romo apparently forgot about the spike to stop the clock on second down.

Braylon Edwards to the Jets: Finally... I might actually get some fantasy points out of him now that there is someone that actually knows how to throw the ball throwing to him.

Crabtree. I still don't like what he did but the 49ers could really use a WR who can create yards after short passes. Hopefully Crabtree is that guy

With all these WR trades, we're still depending on future bust Ted Ginn and decent Bess and Camarillo to get our "chunk" yards. Hopefully Ginn can get open for Henne's bombs.

Possibly...

But, seriously...how many camp holdouts ever turn out good for the player? I can't think of a single one.

Crabtree's got quite the hill to climb.

I predict that in such a matchup the Broncos will win a close one in the closing seconds with a miracle 87 yard touchdown.

It came to me in a dream. This prediction valid through all 17 weeks of the 2009 NFL season, BTW.

Yeah they probably got that incidental with the 2 arms touching way before the ball got there by mistake. Plus from one angle it looked like Allen pushed him. @ Edwards who came out like a beast.

The Dolphins give up too many stupid big plays. 2 freaking punt fakes, the personal foul by Gibril Wilson (who seems to love giving up big plays), the bomb to Edwards where he initially was ruled as scoring. No takeaways and wayyy too many penalties. If it wasn't for the Jets' terrible run D and our badass Wildcat package we would've lost that game. The stats for Henne were amazing. Super efficient outing thanks to the running game opening it up. And OMGBBQ, Ginn did what we drafted him to do. Catch a TD bomb.

Also big 's of the year for me are how Benson and Orton are playing...Benson. The guy castoff by Chicago and team-less for 3 months before signing with Cincy is now leading the league in rushing...?

Wow.
