Besides, I'm reading there are plenty of teams interested in Dwight. The price to get him is way up there now. The Nets don't have the pieces to trade for him.
Also, they got rid of SVG and Otis Thorpe. Looks like they are trying to appease him to me.

Yep..as I said on the page before ... sounds good but NO! Howard is not the missing link. For that to happen it would be a team that is on the door step knocking... nets haven't even made it to the end of the drive way to check tbe mail...

Howard is the LeHeat's missing link to 13242740127490127490127490712389471239047123890471 Titles.
Otherwise, it is just 23412304712497 Titles.

This is true... with a big nasty power center... NBA can go ahead and give the, "not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7".... titles to the Heat. Bosh needs help. Plus i personallt still see some finess in Bosh game keeping him from being a top 5 power center and keeping him him as only a center.

Yea man it was crazy. they were kicking people off the property during the parade and doing ticket checks. Although the ghey security guards forced me to check in my camera stuff. i was able to bring my camera and sneak in my wide angle lens. Im uploading the a short video inside. and Yummy was there he was on my left. lol

I didn't realize they were selling tickets for the event and that thing sold out in 5 minutes. You got lucky asianspec! I watched it at home as FSN Florida played it so I recorded it and it was a great celebration. You gotta love the Heat spanish broadcaster introducing Turiaf with his cazuela (pot) and spoon. And then when they interviewed Chalmers they were saying how he always gets shit from the older players and then Lebron stood up, slammed his hat, and pretended like he was mad at Chalmers again.
I went to the parade with my young nephew and it was certainly a great experience of fan camarderie and "brotherhood". I parked at Dadeland mall which was FILLED with Heat decorated cars. Metrorail was PACKED but the smartest move as downtown traffic was insane. It was hilarious, people cheering when the train arrived, chanting Let's Go Heat on the train, just everyone acting silly. Plus that was my nephew's first time on the Metrorail. I ended up in front of Bubba Gump's in Bayside in the middle section about a 1/4 mile from the arena. There was one guy with a zombie mask, a guy with a shirt asking not eat his face, a couple of kids with a large championship ring made out of cardboard, and whole bunch of crazies. Very peaceful though, no issues. Got pics of the owner, Mickey Arison, Pat Riley, Alonzo Mourning, Bosh, Norris Cole, Chalmers, Miller and mini vids of Wade and LBJ. We tried walking towards the arena after but it was blocked off and there were sooooo many people. All the nearby restaurants had stupid lines so we just grabbed a dog from a street vendor. Definitely a nice life experience.

Oh btw Doomie, they really didn't announce it to people. They only sent the emails to season ticket holders and to people who bought tickets for that season on ticketmasters. So when i saw this i made sure i was @ the computer on Saturday when it went out for sale. the sad part there was a huge section on the bottom that didn't have anybody but the 300 and 400 sections were packed.

See? All those pictures prove I'm the LeHeat's biggest fan.
No one should ever accuse me of hating them.

all work and no play
I wouldnt be surprised to see Ray play for 2 more years if he can keep the injuries at bay. He keeps himself in phenomenal shape.
Theyre talking about he and the Heat having mutual interest up here too. As Doc Rivers said "of course theyre interested, anyone would have to be stupid not to be interested in him"

I wonder if Ray Allen's defense is comparable to Miller. Miller was a pretty good rebounder and defender as well as 3 point shooting but I wonder how much his injury affected his ability.

Reports today said Williams has narrowed down his decision to either stay a Net or become a Mav. The only thing the Nets can hope to add is an extra $25 million onto his contract & an attempt to get D12, but then who can they build around those 2?
Meanwhile, Williams is a Dallas native & wants to play alongside Dirk & Kidd (who may actually consider the Knicks next season as a backup), believing Dallas has the ability to take him back to the Playoffs. If Dallas can acquire him, it will hopefully be easier to convince Howard to sign on. But, it appears Dallas would be looking at trading 3-4 players & a couple draft picks, but then again, so would nearly any other team looking to get the big man.
Howard & Williams with Dirk though, would easily allow for a full range of the court.
