Thank God I had the local Lakers telecast. Hope that Wade and Lebron are healthy for next weeks game vs the Blakers. I'll be headed to that one...

I don't get how Atlanta beats Miami with Wade and Lebron but lose to them without those 2. Big game from Bosh though. T-Mac is easily the steal of the off-season. For the vets minimum are you kidding me? Who said this guy was washed up lol dude should be starting over their 20 million dollar man.
I would hardly call him a steal as the season progresses you might feel the same.

Even more hilarious that Kwame Brown missed all 5 FTs and claimed to have coached Andrew Bynum to his current level of excellence.

I did. It was hilarious due to the blatant biases Stern's henchmen (aka, the refs) have toward my beloved Lakers. Block trades, phantom lane violations....

I was dying I was like you had 5 chances to make a FT and you couldn't do it.

Well, their regular season is the LeFail now. They should've been undefeated.

The Clippers aren't as good as a lot of people thought and they will lose again tonight at the hands of a mad Heat team.
I'm not surprised because over the last 25 years the Clippers have had some good teams on paper but they never really translated into winning teams. Personally I think its karma biting Donald Sterling back for being a slumlord.

as much as I'm glad to see the Clippers do good, I still wouldn't put money on them to go pass 2nd round in post season, not this year... If Bullips stays with the Clippers next year, I think they'll be more refined (next year)

Well, I can't wait until the reports to hear the LeHeat are crying again. Not because it amuses me.
No.
In fact, it is moving. It shows that they are sensitive human beings. That...Gods...can feel too.

Well, victories won't matter this year. We all know the LeHeat will win the Title.

The game atmosphere was GREAT yesterday. The Clips definitely have their fans riled up, and they're going to pick up alot of the younger fans.
This was at the beginning of the game, but the place was hoppin at the end....way different lower bowl than the Lakers.

^^Thanks!
IMO, the Heat gave away that game. Lebron had EVERY chance to win it at the line. The clips had many mistakes at the end and the refs had 1 or 2 calls that I thought were phantom.
Anyways some more observations:
- plenty of athleticism and hops on the court last night. The dunks, when seen in person, were just insane. Bron, DeAndre Jordan, and Blake are just blessed with athleticism even amongst the best athletes in the world.
- CP3 isn't quick as he is saavy. And, from my friend that worked directly with him, he's a very nice guy. He made sure to invite the Clippers staff to a couple of his parties and charity events, and doesn't really have handlers the way other athletes do. He plays FOR the people he works with and the city he lives in. Its great.
-The Clips are REALLY stagnant on offense. No movement other than the screen and roll. They need more there. They are lucky to have 2 point guards as guards most of the time.
-The Heat really looked good, but Bosh not acting like a big man make him a liability. He's 7 feet tall, and shooting jumpshots. That makes him a waste of height/space. He's taking space from Bron and Wade to operate a little closer to the basket, and he doesn't help them when trying to get rebounds.
Anyways, this is all my humble opinion. The Clips overall look decent but seriously young (as a team) while the Heat look like they've played together for awhile. They did everything right at the end of regulation but win it. It was really fun to witness in person.

Last night I was flipping back and forth watching the end of the Lakers game and the Clippers game and coincidentally both Pau and Blake made their first 3 pointers of the season within 2 minutes of each other. Pau said he's been practicing the 3 all summer so maybe we will see him hitting more of those.
Blake is good but he is raw he needs to polish his game to become a reliable scorer and go to guy instead of just a high fly act.

failhard.
Both teams blew chunks at free throws. LeBron may have drawn some good fouls, but he's failed in the clutch once again.
Earl was spot-on, Clips didn't look too organized on offense. Most of the second half on was CP3 driving in and Caron Butler shooting the 3s.
I'm still ranting about Rondo throwing that shitty bounce pass to Ray Allen for a potential game-tying 3.
