Another "brilliant" move too because that guy's been with the organization 10 years and taught a lot of our guys who were in the minors. So now you piss everybody off. Lomo openly criticized ownership. And signing Jose Lopez who I guess will replace Hanley while he's hurt. A week ago all was good when we swept San Fran.

Nothing personal to the Marlin fans on AZ, but you know what? FOOK Jeffrey Loria. F00K him for what he did to the Expos franchise along with Claude Brochu. Yah, this is off topic but im still angry after all of these years. The Expos were my 2nd fav team and my 2nd favorite city as well...
Hope McKeon motivates the Marlins. They need a winning product for their move into their new stadium...

No offense taken. Many fans are upset with Loria. You should also blame MLB and Bud Selig for what happened to Montreal. John Henry who owns the Red Sox was an accessory as he was part of the ownership swap deal.
Like clockwork, McKeon benches Hanley, and we score 1 run in a loss. At least I had Weaver on my fantasy team.

What is wrong with Hanley?? wow...one of the best offensive SS's in the game in a season long slump...his attitude stinks though. I hope the Marlins dont trade him.
I was watching them against my Mets and they looked really good with lots of good young pitching. Dont lose hope yet Bucs fan, i would like to see the Bucos overtake the Central...i mean you guys are only 4.5 games back as of today and Pujols is now babysitting his kids with a fractured forearm and all...

It's nice to see McKeon back...brings back a lot of good memories from when he was coaching the Reds. Always liked his sense of humor and coaching style.
Brought us all the way to that play-in game against the Mets in '99 that we lost to miss out on the playoffs, then they had an off year in 2000 and that fuckin' prick Jim Bowden fired him
After that we didn't have another good team in 10 years (all Bowden's fault)

Nobody knows what's up with Hanley nor what he's doing to get out of it but he got benched since he was late for a meeting.
It seems that Karstens and Maholm are pitching good. I even picked up Karstens

Yah i know it's not going to happen. Montreal is more of a Hockey town even though it does have traditional baseball roots. It's a shame though. The almost same scenario is going down in Saint Petersburg with the Rays...need new stadium and no one watches on tv or at Tropicana field.

What a mess. Obviously McCourt is pissed off and isn't going down without being a giant pain in Selig's ass.
I think it's kind of funny though...can't wait until Selig is gone (only to replaced by another doucher)

Selig's an idiot for letting McCourt have the Dodgers in the first place.

Isn't that voted on by all of the owners though? Don't they approve new ownership? I don't know how exactly that works.
Either way, I don't particularly fault Selig for that, because currently there's a few bad owners (like Wilpon) and there's been plenty in the past, so it happens, but I think it's obvious that Selig is doing everything possible to get McCourt out.
How much time do you think he considered the Fox TV deal that he came up with, even if it was garbage? I doubt Selig would've approved it even if it was a great deal, just because he wants him out.
I think McCourt knew this would happen anyways, so now he's going out in a ball of fire because he can
I try not to even think about this crap, but it's all you hear about nowadays

I dunno...I think CNNSI has an article on this sordid mess. Just terrible it has to happen to one of MLB's charter franchises.
I mean, if it were the Reds...I'd say it would be okay.

Sad day to be a Dodger fan, just another reason why there is a black cloud over the franchise this season. McCourt just needs to cut his losses and move on. The fans, the players and MLB are done with him. If you have to beg, borrow, and steal to support an historic franchise, or any franchise for that matter, you don't deserve to be an owner of a professional sports team. However, McCourt being the asshat that he is, will drag Dodger Blue through the shit and mud and the only ones that will suffer in the end are the players and the fans. I think I'll go hang my Dodger flag at half mast for the remainder of the season.

^ It's shaping up to be a good race for the division
I'm leaving tomorrow morning with a big group to Milwaukee to watch the Reds and Brewers play Friday and Saturday night. Never been there before
We went to Wrigley last year...
