Congrats to the Cards! And although I was rooting for Texas, I have to say its good to see Furcal get a WS ring...even if it wasn't with the Dodgers.

Now I am sad, baseball season is now officially over.

Berkman and Freese are more lethal than Pujols. If you don't count the Texas pitchers.

Congrats to the Cards. Well played series. It was really close. I hate you, but congrats.

Your argument is invalid, considering you admitted to not watching much baseball.

You should make some wine with those sour grapes.

Looking ahead, my Mets better make an attempt to sign Pujols. (Although pitching is a bigger concern.)

Congrats Cardinals!

Great WS and well deserved win over a very good Texas team.
Should be an interesting offseason.

Pujols will retire as a Cardinal...it would be weird to see him on another team.

Could you imagine if Ryno went there instead of Chicago.

Could happen. But I think Oquendo, Francona or Maddon would be better fits.

There's too much $$$$ out there for him to retire, still has playing years left.

I wasn't saying he was going to retire this year, but when he does, he'll still be a Cardinal. Sure he is now in the free agent market, but the Cardinals will give him any amount of money he is seeking to keep him; he is too valuable to them.

McCourt agees to sell the Dodgers. Good riddance! Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out! Plus, the list of potential buyers looks pretty promising that we may get someone that knows what they are doing, I guess we'll have to wait and see who is going to be the one to get Dodger Blue back in the right direction.
