I am/was torn but although I feel we should have at least won the last game but helping eliminate Boston feels pretty darn good.

I love Baltimore!

The only thing I kept thinking in the few minutes between Boston losing and Tampa winning was that Red Sox fans are actually rooting for the Yankees. Scary thought.

I knew as soon as Joe brought in Proctor that he really didn't care about that game.

Can't believe MLB started game 1 of the Yankees/Tigers. WTF were they thinking? Now both teams get hosed.

It's funny you say that because during the BoSox game they showed a kid with a sign saying " Go Yanks" with the Boston logo next to it.

2 more runs and another pitcher for SL.

So much for the critics that said we couldn't hit.

LMAO Gibson I was thinking about you when the D-backs unloaded on them yesterday. We'll see if the Brew Crew can bounce back this afternoon.

F-ck I thought for sure Burnett was going to blow it in the 1st, Granderson was the man both in CF and at the plate.

Hopefully, Yanks can continue momentum on Thurs. Part of me wishes they could have played game 5 today.

Granderson was the man yesterday, those catches were spectacular.

Looks like a game 5 in Philly.

Wow, D-backs came back with a vengeance last night. Forcing the game 5 back in Milwaukee. Cardinals/Phillies going the distance too.

Congratulations Detroit.

Gotta love the classy haters, you know the ones that have no dog in the race yet are happy when a team fails.

Madcaps, where's your team? Did they even make the post season?

Dizwhatever, does San Jose even have a baseball team?

Always great to see a team that tries to buy a Ring fall on their face. Yankees, Heat, Eagles...

As for knocking people who don't even have a team. Don't you live 2500 miles from NYC?

The Yankees spent next to nothing last trade cycle. They limped along with other teams cast aways and did a hell of a job considering.

I grew up in Manhattan and have been a Yankee & Ranger fan as long as I can remember. Is a person only allowed to root for a team as long as they live in a nearby zipcode?

I think not.

So Miami when they signed 2 guys that weren't max players, kept one of their stars under the max, started a point guard that they drafted, and stayed below the luxury tax that the champion exceeded by $20 million all compare to the Yankees spending? Sounds like smart business to me. Ask Forbes:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/sportsmo...ent-nba-teams/

6th most efficient franchise and nowhere near highest payroll. I mean even Memphis, San Antonio, Atlanta, and Portland outspent us. I guess we're small market.

Maybe you're hating the wrong franchise?

They still have the biggest payroll in the MLB by $30 Million.

Does a person who has NO team around not allowed to not route for any team or route against any team because of their zip code?

they sure don't but SF does and yes the Giants did bad this year cause of all the injuries they had this year but u gotta understand that the fact Yankees spent so much money on their roster and they can't even win the first round of the playoff ? their just a joke
