Anyone can ROOT against any team they like. My question is why waste the energy?

So the Yankees not getting past the first round is somehow worse than another team not making it at all?

And I suppose no other team had any injuries??????

Keep the lols coming guys it is helping distract from my disappointment.

Dizwhatever, does San Jose even have a baseball team?
No. We're too busy beating up people in the parking lot and running ourselves into bankruptcy to be worrying about postseason play..but good try on the comeback. Hey, maybe the Yankees and Dodgers should get together and watch the rest of the post season on television, TBS has some great coverage.

I love when the Yankees lose because e30 gets all whiny and upset.

Oh great here we go. E30 getting defensive about the "haters" and the "they buy rings debate".

I agree though, they do try to buy their rings.

After Boston the only team I had any real feeling for was Philadelphia. I wanted them & Lee to crash & burn. Mission accomplished!

Of course the D-Backs are not on my holiday card list but really I don't care.

I do enjoy seeing their stadium outside my window and loling however.

So at the time of the second quote the Yankees had already been eliminated.

So you had "no dog in the race yet are happy when a team fails."

See something wrong here?

Nice try but my feelings for Az were formed in 2001 & Philadelphia & Lee after the season ended last year when Lee kept us waiting for over a month & Philadelphia snuck in and took him.

Enjoying your prize????

Had the situation been reversed (Yankees snapped up Lee from your team) I am certain you'd be crying about it.

Keep it up, perhaps some day you'll be clever.

Nice....all the Phillies fans I work with can all STFU next week when I go in. I've been telling them all season that the offense is suspect. Can't win with just great pitching.

I'm pulling for the Rangers or Brewers.

Nice first step...getting a good baseball man to run things. But, it is only step one. The Cubs team needs to be blown up and started over.

Cruz is single handedly destroying the Tigers. Looks like the Rangers are going to get another shot at a WS Title.
