Matt Garza throws Tampa Bay Rays first no-hitter.
http://www.sportingnews.com/mlb/arti...y-rays-history

Finally the Rays are on the other side of a no hit game.

Good job by Garza, but outside of Cabrera, the Tigers lineup is pathetic.

Watched that game from about the third inning on. Sucks to lose a no hitter on a grand slam, but you could see it coming.

And fuck you Rockies.

That's the 2nd pitcher I missed out on a no hitter because he was on the bench. Garza wasn't too sharp recently.

Chris Coghlan injures knee in shaving-cream pie celebration - could miss 6-8 weeks

"When Wes hit the walk-off, I went to pie him in the face," Coghlan said. "When I jumped, I landed wrong on my knee. That's how I got injured."

Funny how he dominated us for all those years and then the last time we face him as an Astro we kinda shelled him

Sorry Yum

And I'm @ Cantu getting traded. We got minor leaguers for him and one of them is coming off Tommy John. :wtf: I didn't think we'd sell after our latest hot streak and Coghlan going down. Now we're platooning 3rd base with a bunch of pinch hitters.

I know we're 2.5 up right now, but I think the Braves have peaked. I think we're due for a long fall to about third place and 6GB.

Really hoping the Reds don't do anything stupid...historically speaking, trades haven't always worked out so well for us.

Jocketty is a good GM, but he has a weird habit of bringing back old players from his past Cardinals teams...Scott Rolen, Russ Springer, and most recently Jason Isringhausen

Rumor is they will flip him to the Nats for Dunn.

Not much else is going on. The trade market seems kinda dead to me. Theres a little more the an hour left till the deadline.

I'm just glad we did not get him, Lilly sucked the last time we had him.

Remind me why we just got an aging DH when we had Matsui & Damon????
