Kings were toying with the Yotes yesterday....or at least that's what it looked like.

The Yotes barely put shots on the net.
Quick looks almost bored in the net. Quick needs action/shots to be at the top of his game.

Yotes had about a half a good period of play in them.
Then they find out that they can't keep up with the relentless Kings forecheck.
...Yotes then get frustrated, get undisciplined, and get multiple penalties for themselves.

Smith makes rookie King look like an all-star.

I had so much respect for you...but now you had to play the embellishment card for one of the reasons your team lost the game and is behind 0-3 in the series?!?!?

Let's play devil's advocate for a moment....let's say you are correct and every King player embellished on all the calls that went against your team.

Ok.......and? How 'bout the game before when your team gooned it up with:
..your goaltender swinging his stick into the back of the other players knees.
..one of your players kneeing another player
..two of your players getting thrown out for boarding
..one of them getting a one game suspension.

Brandon Prust Suspended: Rangers Forward Will Miss Game 4 Vs. Devils

New York Rangers forward Brandon Prust will miss Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final against the New Jersey Devils, as he's been suspended one game for his elbow on Anton Volchenkov, according to the Bergen Record.

The NHL has yet to announce their reasoning for the suspension, but it's in line with recent bans in these playoffs. Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers delivered a similar elbow to the head of Devils forward Dainius Zubrus in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals and was also banned one game.

Prust will not forfeit any salary for the playoff suspension. There's no early word on who might replace Prust in the Rangers' lineup in Game 4. Brandon Dubinsky has skated at Rangers practice in recent days but he's not expected to be fully recovered from an injury in time for Monday's action. It's possible that defenseman Steve Eminger could take shifts on the fourth line as a replacement for Prust.

Props to the Yotes, for somehow getting 2 goals.

Smith was the key for the Yotes in game 4....he was a wall for the first time in the series.
Posts and breakaways galore, and he still came up golden.

Kings need a loss to get "grounded". It's not like they were going to win 9 in a row...10...11..12....
