One of those Sedins is like Ghandi, Marchand popped him in the face 4 or 5 times and he just stood there, he didn't retaliate but he also didn't just skate away. Cost Marchand 15 minutes in penalties but he only had to serve about 2:30 of them because the game was over.

I'm glad I'm NOT in Vancouver if they lose Wednesday night... Hopefully they don't riot like 94'

Well, the big question is which Canucks team is going to show up in Vancouver and also, can they handle the pressure...?
Wednesday sure is going to be entertaining one way or another.

I can't wait to stick this one in your face. Its going to be worse than all the Yumchah Le' and Le4thquarter posts in the NBA thread.
So outside of the Detroit moving issue, do you truly believe Gary Bettman and the NHL board of governors are on the up and up and a true democracy is at work there?

......So what should me and Fibi do when it turns out you are in correct on Detroit......can we have your tinfoil hat as a souvenir?

Ok....anybody change their mind on who's gonna win The Cup?
I'm still standing by my prediction of the Nucks winning.

And Boston has a really good chance since all their losses to Vancity has been by 1 goal...and how long has Vancouver held a lead so far in the series...? 16 minutes?

Nope...but, it would not shock me either if Boston takes it. The Nucks, despite all that depth and talent, don't appear to have the mentality or consistency of a true champ.

I'm just hoping for a very competitive game 7.....worthy of a Stanley Cup Finals Game 7.....regardless of who wins.

One thing's for sure...having watched Tim Thomas play several games now in the playoffs on TV, I'm a big fan.
What a player...He better win the Conn Smythe win or lose the Cup series.

Raymond suffered a compression fracture of a vertebrae from the Boychuk hit. Knowing that it's kinda disturbing that they carried him off the ice with 2 players suspending him by his arms instead of on a stretcher. Hopefully that indiscretion won't cause him further harm.

^ Ouch...that's Motrin pain, right there.

Sure....Bettman and the NHL Board are the most upfront in your face out in the open corrupt group to ever manage a professional sports team....add to that they are untouchable.....they owners have ZERO say in anything.......the NHL mafioso puts Capone to shame.

What's in it for the West Owners?
Makes no sense to me.

Maybe it's my perspective. But I don't see the big deal. It's not as if the west will collaspe without Detroit. They'll get over it and new rivalries will be made. It's not as if Detroit is the be all end all. Like I said earlier, they're on the decline anyway.

Toronto of all teams sells out every time they are in L.A.
I think you understand what I am getting at.
Leaving only Chicago in the West is a no-go.

You seem to be confusing "tough" with "dirty". Bruins had 2 suspension this year, 4 games to Daniel Paille for a hit to the head and 2 to Marchand for the same.
Vancouver had 3. 6 for Rypien for attacking a fan, 4 Torres for an elbow to the head, and 4 Rome for a extremely late hit. That's 14 to 4 in favor of the Canucks. Not to mention the crap that somehow avoided a suspension like hair pulling and biting.
As far as I can tell there are only 2 teams who had more suspensions than Vancouver, Pittsburgh and the Islanders and most of those came from games between each other.
If Vancouver was actually a tough team instead of a dirty one, they would have wrapped this up in 4.

I was joking. I'm a Canucks fan, but I agree some of the crap we pull is dirty, like Edler's hit on Peverley even though Lu already put his arm up to signal the icing call.

They have honestly, only themselves to blame if they lose this series. Instead of playing hardnosed hockey...they decide to cheap it up with suspendable hits, bites, taunting, and now Lou's whining about inflating tires.
I still can't forget Hamhuis purposely sending Bolland's head into the boards after the latter JUST came back from a concussion injury...And don't get me started about Headhunter Torres and his love of leaving his feet to hit or the blindsides (i.e. Seabrook)...
If anything, Vancouver has somehow galvanized a Boston team that was down for the count after two devastating losses (games 1 and 2). And how did the Canucks do that? Full-retard.
Boston may not have any saints, but they are definitely not the cheapshot artists the Canucks are.

If it makes you feel better, there are rumors that the "lower body injury" Hamhuis is suffering from is a ruptured testicle. Apparently it took all the balls he had and will ever have to hip check Lucic.

I don't think you understand how much it means to have an original six team in the conference. They draw a lot of fans into the arenas they visit...regardless of their current stats.

I'm with Waldorf. I don't see the Wings moving. If there's a team that moves, it'll likely be Columbus or Nashville that punts over to the Eastern Conference in place of Atlantinnipeg.
I feel the need...
Should have ample time to check in to Bellagio, hit the sports book and settle in for game 7 while the crew rolls in. Awfully tempted to put some money on a Killer-B's upset.
:Moogs: we''ll plan on meeting up at the bunny ranch like you suggested for the first annual 'Funeral Director' and 'Grave Robber' convention.

How about a poll to see where Azine stands for Game 7?

The city of Boston is taking all kinds of precautions to prevent a riot tonight. There will be no viewing of the game at the garden. All bars with outdoor furniture need to remove it. The city has asked that all bars that will be showing the game shade their windows to prevent crowds from forming outside them to watch and bars are being forbidden to allow anyone in after the 2nd period is over.
IMO these precautions are more likely to piss people off and cause a riot than prevent one.

Meh, peeps have been saying that for years. Don't underestimate Holland, Nil and your boy "Illach" etc. Never mind that Hockeytown is also the cradle of coaches (and GM's) apparently.
