It is such a pity to see the Hawks disbanded like that. They were such a treat to watch last year...

This year, they are just another middle-of-the-pack team...

man it sucks to be a Toronto sports fan right now. Leafs have lost 7 straight and the Raptors have lost 6 straight. and the way it's looking, they'll probably go on a combined 0-20 streak...FML

Yep. They also have the most back-to-back games right now. So, if you want to see why they are struggling and looking exhausted at times, that is it.

The only hope this city has is the Blue Jays right now. And they're still a year or 2 away from maybe being able to compete. And don't forget the mess that MLSE has also made of the FC.

Lots to look forward to sports wise in this town.

Nuts...I have the opposite problem....it seems like the Kings are playing 1 game a week.

What's left? Canadian cities maybe, but that's the Counts last option after every US option has been exhausted.

And Winnipeg and Quebec city might be able to survive with the $ at par, but once it approaches 70 cents again, seeya. The only real option is Toronto.

Makes no sense whatsoever. But MLSE will do their best to never allow it.

Hey Leaf fans, remember that no matter how bad the team gets, no matter how long they've been bad for, no matter who they traded for, no matter how expensive ticket prices are, booing the team is disrespectful according to Brian Burke. And questioning if the head coach should be fired? How dare you!

That was the last time there was hope.

Dougie was on The Fan the other morning and he was once again asked about that high stick, its never going away... Torontonians will hate Kerry Fraser to his grave.

I've blocked the 80's from memory. I'm now in the process of doing the same to the 00's

BTW - Thanks for nothing as far as Verstiff is concerned. Next time you need to dump salary call someone else.

How's Stalberg doing?

Second hat trick of the year last night and 5 points for the night. No penalties last two games.

You leafs fans take the cake in the department. I thought us Kings fans were wacky with all the hate we have for the whole McSorley illegal curved stick incident.

Avery is a dick, but that was a clean hit. Fucking skate and play the game. Dickhead move to cheapshot, once he "wasn't" going to fight.

Clean hit. Smid dropped the gloves before Avery connected with the "cheap shot".

I'd call it questionable at best for a "cheap shot right".

Definitely not an honorable move by Avery. Smid asked him to go and he waited until he let his guard down to sucker him. If you're going to fight, be a man and go toe-to-toe.

Avery is far from honorable....but to call it a cheap shot...that's a stretch...Smid dropped his gloves before the hit....he knew it was coming.

It's not like Avery pulled a Dave "Tiger" Williams on Smid.
