Yeah.
PJ Stock? Seriously you won't find a bigger PJ Stock fan than me, but I'm not sure if his skating ability was ever a strong suit. If Battle of the Blades was a competition to determine how many punches you could throw in 30 seconds, he'd be the champ.

Quicks got that spot...but from the look of it last yr, he's going to be a good backup.

Quick was my sleeper fantasy pickup last yr.

Seems to be like the Hawks have a few gems in Nick Leddy and Jeremy Morin...both prospects acquired via trades.

Morin was a final cut but I have a feeling we'll see him in the Hawks line-up sometime. And Leddy will skate with Hammer on the second D pairing. Impressive!

Vancouver Trades O'Brien to Predators for Parent

Story here: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=336401

Damn, I wanted O'Brien around for bone-headed penalties to help out the Hawks when they played...

Burke does not believe in the draft.

Trades will be the way to the Cup. You watch, Dion will be hoisting the Cup this year.

My point was: although TSN's ranking are subjective, idiots can still graduate from Stanford.

I'm not worried. The Leafs have Tim Brent centering the 3rd line and he assured me this morning in a radio interview that he'll do his part. With him and Clarke McCarther upfront they'll be sure to fill opposing nets.

Who are Tim Brent and Clarke McCarther you ask?

How the fawk should I know. I've never heard of either one of them.

Not sure where the Nucks are at...but, with O'Brien off the books and Parent waived...are they under the cap?
