Kipper was decent...but, Bulin was better. If there was no Bulin in the 1st period, the game was over.
Chicago looked very lost and nervous in the first 20 minutes...Toews then took a bad 4 minute penalty which the team weathered...And then, Captain Serious literally took over to atone for his mistake -- winning faceoffs, hard forechecks, and then finally setting up the first goal.

Heck, that was how the goal by Moss was scored -- when Campbell got clocked in his own zone and coughed up the puck.

Interesting...Anaheim is playing Hiller over Giguere!

I could somewhat agree with that. Just depends how far they get here in the playoffs. But there is no way I can see Luongo going to Toronto anytime soon. Maybe Detroit...

If it's within the rules and a it's clean play I don't have a problem with it at all. So many things have to go right for a team to win in the playoffs and if using physical intimidation can give you even the slightest advantage over your opponent then why wouldn't you use it. At the least, it shows that you're willing to do whatever it takes to win and you won't go down without a fight. I would be more concerned about a team that would just roll over without a fight.

Ya, I was kidding about Toronto, unless they somehow manage to turn things around quickly. East is all I'm saying. Don't count out his home town Habs either.

<-- Wishing the Hawks missed the playoffs so he wouldn't have to see posts like this ^ and could have started a "Hawks miss the Playoffs Again" thread everyday.

Rest assured. Its nothing against the City of Chicago or the Hawks. I just don't like seeing Yumchah happy.
Interesting. Interesting.
He takes entire games off. Sometimes multiple games. When he's into it, he's great though.
Also, his goal was good (though was more a case of right place at right time), but no one is talking about how fucking idiotic his elbowing penalty was with 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

On a serious note, I'm very curious to see how Pittsburgh responds to the from the last game against Philly...

You and me both, I will be there to help encourage them though, I'll have to try hard not to jump onto the ice and help out though

They better not, NHL has said they won't put up with it.

And WTF...why isn't the League suspending Camalleri for his hit on Havlat...? It was identical to Carcillo's on Talbot!
I was trying to figure out about that maybe a non call on the goalie interference of the Hawks game last night. And the Camalleri hit was wriiten about as well.'

Bolland intercepted a pass from Leopold and set it up to a trailing Havlat. Ladd went hard to the net but got pushed into the goalie. I'm not saying this because I'm biased...that's how I saw it.
Keenan understandably is doing what he can for his part...and it's his way of implying how the Flames will play Game 2.
I saw the the highlights of that game, to say he was pushed is a stretch, but none the less.
Interesting. Interesting.
Philly played a scrappy game. What foolish penalties at the end. Ugh. I hate both teams, but having the Pens win is like having Hitler win.
