That simple

For you to be rooting for Avery gets the bullet.
Honestly, its not a Russian thing. I'm a big Malkin fan and a fan of many other Russians. Ovie just rubs me the wrong way. Call me old school, I just can't cheer for the guy. Although I admit he's the 2nd or 3rd best player in the game. And I would love him if he was in a Leaf uni.

And its not as if I want to see Avery hurt him. Just throw him off his game enough (within the rules) to make him less effective.

Meh. I don't mind that dom wants the Caps to lose. I can understand not liking Ovechkin.

For example, I don't like Tiger Woods. The guy is a douche. Somehow he thinks he's important. He treats reporters like garbage. If it weren't for those reporters, no one would care what he says or does. All he does is hit a little ball into a hole with a stick. He's lucky that that are many, many people in the world that have, for some reason, decided that's impressive.

Come to think of it ... remember how valuable beanie babies were? People were paying thousands of dollars for "rare" ones at one point. Until one day, everyone woke up and said "hey.....these aren't worth shit...." and then the entire empire crumbled.

I wish the same thing would happen to golf.

So wait.... Do you hate Tiger or do you hate golf?

Do you hate the Pens or just Crosby?

Do you hate the Leafs or just Domn?

Do you hate the Redskins or the owners?

But it is very, very impressive. If it wasn't, everyone would be able to do it.

Michael Shumacher is another one for me. Everyone drooled over the guy but I could never stand him. Always came off as an arrogant prick. Doesn't mean I couldn't admit he was probably the best of all time.

Hate the Pens. Always have. They always beat the Caps when it counts, and they fielded two of the most annoying players ever: Jaromir Jagr and Tom Barrasso.

I like the Leafs (my wife's team) - I wish they would do better because they are one of sport's most storied franchises. Plus, their all-blue uniforms are the best in all of sports. I love Dommy. I just hate his Don Cherry "old school" outlook. Sounds like an old man. Instead of watching modern hockey, he should watch old Sittler and Salming ("the king!'") video tapes and revel in how great things used to be.

This is an excellent question. The 'Skins owner is such a complete douche that, for the first time in 30 years, I'm having trouble rooting for the Skins. I've bled burgundy and gold most of my life, but I can't really say I'd be excited to see The Danny hoist the Lombardi Trophy. He's the worst owner in sports.

Old school is some respects, new in others. I want fighting out of the game entirely. Don Cherry I'm not.

♦It's a Caps fan thing about Barrasso, I feel the same. Don't think Jagr would have been that good w/o Mario, it showed when Mario hung them up and then when Jagr came to DC.

♦I still think Raiders situation is worse. At least we have had some better Coaching decisions as well as put a good team on the field, Danny hasn't been as bad as he was.

♦It depends on when the Caps are playing them. I rooted for Philly a couple weeks ago when they where playing Pittsburgh.

You don't think Garth Snow can turn it around? I think they're doing pretty well with what they have. They purged all the salaries and crap and have been selling off at trade deadlines..

So long as Garth is not the second-coming of Mad Mike...cuz, if that guy kept the people he drafted (i.e. Luongo, Brewer, etc. etc.), he'd have a really good team now.

Did you see the OT Championship winning goal in the Frozen Four? The goal is at the 1:07 mark with a better reply at 1:13

Take the money and invest in some good tickets further in the playoffs.
