I just get a kick out of the various adjectives you use to describe the Pens. Hell, I should hate 'em more, they're in the same division as the Flyers. All great scorers seem to get extra special attention.

wow, you're still missing the point, but I can assure having watched every pens game for the last several years straight (usually in person), that neither of our biggest stars are handled with gloves or over protected. As I've said on here before, they get more abuse and are more targeted because of their status. However not once have I ever called for more protection or a bias in calls to protect my players with special treatment, they take care of protecting each other, which you have a problem with because it was Crosby standing up. Of course, my players play with more class than your beloved obitchkin who goes out of his way to run at people (AWAY FROM THE PLAY) with his hands and stick up at their head/neck/face but again, and celebrates like NFL retards. But you always dodge my and jonesi's points, so like I said we'll see you in the playoffs, if the caps make if past the first round

NFL retards, he's done one stupid ass move with he's 50th. I've already posted the shit about the Gwens celebrating just as Ovie and the Caps, but you're too blind to read that.

Interesting. Interesting.
In fact, there are cheap moves and rapings in almost all the fantasy leagues I participate in. So much so that I'm getting kind of tired of fantasy.

All comes down to: money...if there were no money involved, most of these things would never happen.

^ I guess. The money is nice but I didn't get involved in this just for that reason. I would prefer the win and bragging rights for the next year. The money just makes it a little more interesting.

Personally I think it's part my fault for trying to find a extra team or two. May just stick with a solid 8 teams next year. And hopefully Dom will play for more then a few weeks

It took the slow motion for me to realize what he'd done.
Interesting. Interesting.
Then again, besides all the moves, the only shady thing was the Nabokov trade. So, it wasn't that bad.

ya, i wasn't trying to imply anything. it actually was a good league we had this year. i just think the moves got out of hand in the final few weeks and guys who kept their core team together for most of the year were suddenly unable to compete
Senior Moderator
But, that being said, I'm out next year.

And for all of the belly-aching about what moves WORKED, you guys also forget the ones that blew up badly. Let me name a few of the guys I had and were dropped (and I'm sure I'm missing some):
- Steve Mason
- Jeff Carter
- Pekka Rinne
- Dwayne Roloson
- Keith

So, the Jackets would draw either Calgary or Vancouver...?
Here's hoping it's Vancouver.

calm down (not gay). no one said you ruined the league. in fact, you did play by the rules. there was no weekly moves limit and you took advantage of that. it's like you found a loop hole :detective
Senior Moderator
I discovered this "loophole" thanks to wstevens. Sorry, not pointing the finger...but, if it gives me the best chance to win, I'll try it.

I think the Jackets match up well with both teams. I think they went 3-1 against Vancouver and 2-2 against Calgary. I'm torn between who I'd like to see them draw. Probably the Flames because Vancouver has become pretty scary of late. I believe Calgary just needs to beat Edmonton in order for this to happen.
