It would take Kessel and Bergeron to get Pronger....no no no no no.
Of course Pronger would be a huge asset and get Chara down to the low to mid 20's of ice time where he should be...but I feel like we are pretty deep in terms of D. We need another scorer or two

Sources tell TSN neither Dominic Moore nor Nik Antropov will be in the lineup tonight when the Toronto Maple Leafs host the New Jersey Devils. Moore's agent, Larry Kelly and Leafs management have had a number of discussions regarding a contract extension, however little progress has been made prompting Toronto to start seriously listening to trade offers.

So they can be competitive apparently...cuz, if they really wanted that lottery pick, they would've left the season up to Cujo and Pogge. Why put in Gerber...?
Personally, I don't think Gerber is that great but he's certainly an upgrade over the other two.
