Whoever makes it out of the east in the playoffs might be dead by the end of it. Going to be a lot of fantastic hockey to watch though cause of it.

Curious to hear your thoughts on Patty Kane joining the Rangers. Obviously he's a skilled forward and a cup winning veteran, but do you think that he is really going to cure cancer and live up to all this hype? The media has been acting like this is the greatest trade ever in the history of hockey, when he flat out told the Hawks he would only go to the Rangers. Just curious your feelings on the trade?

I mean, FWIW, we may be taking it for granted but Kane is arguably the greatest USA-born player of all-time and he's still a star and is now joining an Original 6 squad like the Rangers in that market after spending his entire career in Chicago -- winning 3 Cups, the awards, and etc.? Yeah, going to be a bit of press.

Yeah, there's definitely a lot of that with this team, but the stars are going out and trying every night, but just can't carry this whole team. Carter is beyond old and slow (don't tell Moogy) and our bottom 6 is atrocious, not to mention our D core is old and slow and constantly getting injured, it's just not a fun year. Makes me glad that I gave up my season tickets as sad as I was for doing so
