Yep, hopefully history continues to repeat itself. No Malkin or Hagelin to start the series is going to hurt

If Malkin can't play or isn't 100% then I think it will end up being the Caps series. If he is good to go I think they should have no time sending Ovie home cupless yet again.

The Bruins are scaring the poop out of me. They look nothing like they did the first two games. Gotta give credit to Anderson and the Leafs PPK, they've been great the last couple games.
If the B's dont make it out of this series, I will too be rooting for Winnipeg. Fun fact (which none of you will care about ) I went to college with Hellebuyck when he put up the greatest statistical season in the history of the world, as a freshman

And did not know Hellabuck was in your alma mater. UMass Lowell?
brought us to the frozen four in 2013. Then got called up immediately after his sophomore year.
My dad is a hockey nut and has had UML season tickets for 10yrs. I started going when I was a student and have been going to every game since. College hockey is really fun. A whole different game from the NHL

Leafs led pretty much the entire game, just gave it away at the end. Props to Boston for ramping it up when it counted, but you guys could barely eliminate the freaking Leafs
I was rooting for Toronto to win. The only reason I was against the Bruins is because of Marchand. Fuck that guy. But yeah... Toronto led that game in the first two periods, only to fall apart in the third. Shiiiiet.

Can't stand Marchand, such a dbag of a player. His dive on the Kapanen shorty was hysterical, and then when he gets nudged from behind he Supermans into the wall like he got shot. Not to mention the cheapshots he was taking all game...
Year 2 of the Matthews/Marner/Nylander era and they faced the best defensive team in the east, they actually exceeded my expectations. But like I said multiple times before, they are too fucking soft and Boston's top line was way too much to handle.
That said Tampa is going to destroy them since they have home ice.

My hope is that this is a longer series for entertainment purposes...So, it's possible being down 2-0 to the Jackets and storming back has taught the Caps something. Then again, the Pens are not a Torts-team.
Speed speed and more speed. Just one game...I still have the Sharks pegged to take it but I'm almost regretting my pick after watching yesterday's massacre. But, blowouts happen in playoff series and usually don't translate to the 2nd game.
Yeah that's my thought also. I'm sure the Sharks will come out with some fury in game 2. They shit the bed right off the bat with yesterday's game... Not surprised they had a hard time getting back into it.
I still say LV takes the round
I still say LV takes the round
It was a coin-toss for me...but, I was just impressed with how the Sharks played after they got the Kane...

Probably not fun to start given the quick strike goals by the Caps...but, yikes...it unraveled quickly for DC. It's just one game but you have to think the Pens are in their heads?

And I agree, the Caps aint dead and will push back, just hoping we can dispatch them in 6 games, I don't want another game 7 against them
