Nash got 2 for Boston today, that's pretty close to his production in the postseason for the Rangers the whole time he was there.

It wasn't an illusion, it was over the line with white between it before they tried to cover it up, either way, I was much more pissed off about the non-call on the deliberate head shot on Dumolin by Tom WIlson, the dude is a virus and should not be in the league..

Oilers fired/reassigned all of their assistant coaches. Todd McLellan is still head coach.

I'm happy with their decisions regarding keeping Todd and the firings. Not happy about reassigning some of them. If they suck, get them out.

So I am a big supported of keeping the big hits in hockey. They can be game changing at times. I have given and taken my share of them when I played hockey as well. That all being said though the hit by Wilson last night is not needed in the game. Those are the ones that need to be removed from the game. That was a dirty hit through and through. The fact there was no penalty makes it even worse. If the league is going to take player safety seriously he needs to be gone for a minimum of 2 game and maybe more. The Penguins player I don't even remember the name has a broken jaw and a concussion directly from that hit.

The game didn't need that hit. It was already an intense even game with great back and forth hockey. It is going to be a great series.

Dude shouldn't have even been in the game last night, if the league actually cared about player safety Wilson would have sat a game for the hit on Dumoulin, instead he's given free reign to do it again. His shoulder makes direct contact with ZAR's cheek and ends up breaking his jaw and giving him a concussion. I don't expect the league to do shit yet again given that he wasn't even assessed a penalty, however I can hope that the league has at least some backbone. Doughty was suspended for a far less aggressive headshot, so I don't know. A star defenseman can be suspended but a career goon who shouldn't even be in the league gets a pass....

Everyone was picking the Preds in the final, but I honestly want to see a Vegas v Jets conf final, that would be one hell of a 7 game series!

 

So the league announced that DBag WIlson will have a hearing, if they suspend him now they'd have to admit that he's a headhunter, so my guess is they'll just fine him which won't do shit since he's out there deliberately trying to hurt people, but we shall see. If he gets any suspension, it won't be more than 1 game...
