Everyone in Wash is crying about Bonino snapping his head back from the high stick, I completely forgot about this from last year...

Oilers. They gonna lose.
and I call BS on the Penguins getting to play the Caps in this round... Penguins essentially got a free pass to round 3
Byyyyye Caps!! I don't understand how a team that consistently finishes the regular season in or near 1st place, gets knocked out of each and every playoff series. Have they even made it to round 3 before?

Nope, in the Odouchecan era, they've never been out of the second round, and Barry Trotz has never coached a team beyond the second round either. Not saying the series is over, but it's not looking good for the Craps
Cuz...like Pats are gonna cheat. The Caps are gonna choke?
Kinda in their DNA. Their nature.
As for the Oilers...holy toledo: I completely disagree with the goalie interference no-call. That's interference in my books and the NHL needs to get their heads out of their @$$es. Similar to how Crawford was interfered for the goal that tied it in Game 3, yesterday's goal for the Ducks was no different. That horrid call took all the momentum out for Edmonton. BS.
The only other observation is Eberle...man, what's his deal? He pretty much single-handedly caused a goal too.
If I'm Coach Todd, I'd bench him for Game 5.

The reffing for the Ducks/Oilers series has been incredibly lop sided, in the Ducks favor. I will admit that yes, Oilers do get away with stuff on the ice, but wow, the Ducks take it to a new level. Also, I didn't see it (I was sitting in a plane at the time), but I heard that because the Oilers lost their timeout in the goalie interference challenge, the Ducks got away with another goal that was offside. Oilers couldn't challenge it, though. Not sure how true that is, and if it is just Oilers fans looking for something more to justify the loss, but if it is true, man, wth.
It's like Bettman wants to ensure no Canadian team makes it too far... we're small market nobodies. Gotta get hype in the big American cities. Funny- in LA, no one cared about the Ducks games... people knew nothing about them, nor cared there is even hockey on TV. They were more interested in the regular season MLB games and NBA playoff games happening. I can't blame them. Who goes leisurely skating in California? Anything ice related is foreign to them (understandably so).
Yes, Eberle is Garbage. I think Nugent-Hopkins is garbage also. Both have accounted for exactly 0 points so far in the playoffs... and we're paying them 5-6 million, each These are Forwards/Centers and they get ZERO points. They were praising Nugent-Hopkins for his shut down role against the Sharks. Big whoop. The Sharks were a battered team. Now playing against healthy Ducks and Getzlaf is able to get 2 goals and I think 2 assists past Nugent-Hopkins, in a single game

The reffing in the Pens/Caps series has been ridiculously lop-sided and obvious. The Caps have gotten away with murder and the refs have done everything they can to keep Washington in this series. So many missed calls when the refs are standing right there watching on, but that's what I've come to expect since the league wants the ratings from this series and wants it to continue as long as possible

Edmonton is killing me. I really hope they don't blow this series after being up 2 games but we shall see. I always consider 2-2 tied series to almost be a reset best of 3 and who can bring it down the stretch. I can't believe each team has lost both their home games.
FUCKING. BULLSHIT.
Worst goalie interference of life and the refs rule against it, saying it was a fair play?!?! Kesler was holding the goalie's fucking leg!!!!
FUCKING DIRTY.

I'm ok now if the oilers lose. I know deep down that they were being fucked by the officials and this is another game- the 2nd game, they should have won. They should've sealed the deal today and are being fucked. Good for them for not giving up... but the cards are stacked against them

IMO, the first goal by Anaheim should never have happened. But, fine it did...Oil had TWO more shots at it. And instead, they were scrambling and almost seemed pedestrian. Not skating. Re-watch it. Blaming the refs, sure...but, read the NHL explanation on Nurse shoving Kesler and so, they had no play to call it interference. I dunno...I don't like the ruling either BUT, again...Oil would not be in this situation if they played better in the 3rd. And honestly, the calls always work out. Always.
2nd OT coming.
More Kirin.

Based on this logic the Rangers won the cup in '14.
The Kings got every call. Welcome to Earth unfair is our prime export.
Indeed, it's a new record.
If anything, this new team with McJesus is setting records all over the place.
But, if Taco has stepped off the ledge of the High-Level Bridge, he can take solace in realizing the Ducks are nearly as clockwork as a Coach Boudreau-coached squad in choke-jobs. When Anaheim takes a 3-2 series lead, they are 1-8.
So long as the Oilers can move past the collapse (honestly, this is why Sharelli brought in people like Loocheech, right?) in Game 5, they should be able to force a Game 7 and well, do a coin-flip on that game. I hope this goes 7. Hopefully the city of Edmonton does not riot regardless of the outcome. But, I think that city is due...isn't that 82nd Ave. place done repairs and ripe for another destruction?

FWIW, it's easy for me to say because I'm just watching purely as a neutral fan...BUT, the calls and bounces kinda go both ways. We would not be ranting about the tied goal if the Oilers actually bothered to press the play instead of playing Prevent D...how often does that ever work? Todd is doing the same poison pill he did when he was the coach of the Minnows and I saw what the Hawks did to SJ when the latter played Prevent D.

But I'm sorry, the ducks got a penalty shot last night that they shouldn't have. A penalty to edmonton? Yes. A penalty shot? Fuck that.
Then the tying goal with 15 seconds left and no goalie interference? Fucking bullshit. You never touch the goalie. The same bullshit the ducks got away with in the game before. It was even reviewed and they still come back with no interference in both instances? Give me a fucking break. That's how groin injuries happen. Or strains. Or pulls. A hockey club is nothing without their goalie and there's reasons they're protected. But sure, let greasy Kesler get in there for 10 seconds and hold or lift legs because that's apparently allowed now.
they could have and should have won both of those games and been on to the next round. Now they're down 3-2. It's clear they won't be going past round 2.
And I'm guessing you don't think the oilers should've been deflated after all that bullshit? They had a win in hand and they were robbed. You don't just pretend nothing happened and go on your business. As far as I'm concerned, they came out pretty strong in the 1st OT, but couldn't capitalize.
I agree they were in D mode in the 3rd, which is always bad news... and the reason why shit hit the fan so badly. They should've stayed on the gas right until the end.
