LA is pretty stacked in net now. Bishop is an upgrade over Budaj & Quick can take his time to be 100% for playoffs
As for the Leafs, loving the Brian Boyle trade.

I'm reading that pick-up was more a prevention for the Pens and Rangers to get him? It'll be interesting...the East is going to likely come down to those 3 teams anyways for the road to the Cup. Pens despite having the injuries have shown to be pretty resilient and non-hang-over.
I am honestly praying for a Hawks/Pens showdown for the Cup if possible. Seeing Sid versus Toews would be on my hockey bucket-list to watch in the playoffs in a 7 game series. I would suspect it would immediately be a classic.

Was excited cause the Avs had a nice early game against the Flyers last night. 7pm start meant I wouldn't have to stay up to all hours of the night. Well after it got to 0-2 in the first and they looked terrible I just turned it off. The game finished 0-4
I definitely can't wrap my head around how it has gone so bad really. Like you say the talant is there like the oilers had it just doesn't seem to click. Oh and yes the defense is really bad.
As much as I like Duchene I don't mind him leaving for a young top level D man. We need one and there is no secret to that. Duchene is also older than everyone else that is part of what could be the core of the rebuild. Landeskog leaving I would have a much bigger issue with though. He is a leader and a great power forward. He is the age they need during this rebuild and on a nice even cap friendly long term contract.
Wow. Stars did a 360 and did NOT choke in the 3rd like usual. Great comeback vs a great team.
One thing I could not help noticing was how chunky Phil Kessel is. Does not look like a hockey player lol. And he kept staring at the girls in short shorts and tops who would scoop up the ice shavings several times a period. Creeper.
