We hanging out at Studio Paris now my old stomping ground - this is where I saw them last time. Hossa just walked by some others and the cup are imminent.
Nice pics UNC, so awesome that you got to be there, what a memory that will be for the rest of your life
Thanks. As a partial season ticket holder and my buddy a full season holder, we have been fortunate to see a ton of games over the last 6 years of this crazy run.
I cant tell you how many times I was asked why we were going to that game and not selling the tix.
Because this is what you wait for! Sometimes it's not about the money. Idiots...
UNCTYPE-S, those are some amazing pics...I'm happy for you that you were able to experience the whole thing.
Your ears must still be ringing...Just from watching the game on TV, I could tell that the noise starting from the anthem, Keith and Kane's goals, to the final horn must've been beyond thundering...
GO HAWKS!
It's insane how far this club has gone considering how awful they were in the mid-90s...I could never have dreamed they would have won 3 Cups in just 6 years.
The pregame bars on madison were a great start to a fine evening. My ears were hurting just from that.
But yes the game noise was incredible and nobody better to get us 22k+ fans going than Big Jim and the anthem!
Seeing the team captain raise the chalice never gets old either...and then, seeing who he hands it off to first is always very cool.
I think the NHL is the only sport out there where the trophy is given first to the players right? Cuz, for example, in the NFL, it goes to the owner (I think it's kinda stupid), right?

Personally I think the greatest part of the Stanley Cup as a trophy is that it's not just a trophy it's a history of the league and once you win it you are guaranteed to get your name engraved into history. Go to Cooperstown or the NFL hall of fame and you'll see a list of teams who won the championship, go to the hockey hall of fame and the trophy tells the whole story.
I'm glad to finally start seeing some true BlackHawk fans in this thread.
I'm kind of bummed in a way because my buddy and I had game 7 flights/seats paid for. Would've been nice to sit in Tampa a couple days but nothing beats a clincher on home ice.
Crawford is not going anywhere.
Sharp is gone
Seabrook possibly but I personally dont think so
Bickell we may be stuck with. Nobody is going to pick up his overpaid ass
All aboard the rumor train. It's arriving in about a week!

Bickell is likely a buy-out.
And I agree, it is unlikely the Hawks will trade Crow. But, we'll see...his $6M cap hit is a huge dent off the books. And the Hawks system is okay with any goalie and Darling/Raanta would be just fine.
He went on quite the run when King Henrik was out...but, I think if a team is willing to overpay for a backup goalie (cough, Oilers, cough suckers), then, I'd say the Rangers should lick their chops and open up the phone lines.
Apparently Jarret Stoll has some very big plans for the start of free agency. He's got a court date in Nevada for his possession of cocaine and ecstacy charges.

All your moog bashing snarkiness aside, pretty lucky for management. His contract literally ends the day he goes to court.
No slapya titsov cap issues
Well, duh. Only the Kings will ever be free of cap hell. Deano foresaw Stoll going Winehouse and thus, signed him to the contract that would end THE YEAR Stoll began to snort stuff.

Doubtful, he was just wise enough to know how long it would take to get caught
