Very.
And to dom's point a few posts back...you don't need heaps of goals to have a damn entertaining game, IMO.
This reminds me of the couple of tilts the Hawks had with the Pens recently which were not that high-scoring given the talent on both teams but was just absolute riots to watch.

Then again the leafs are pretty entertaining in their own way, it's just that the NHL is like Star Wars entertaining and the leafs are more like Jim Henson's the Muppets Show.

As good as the game, officiating has been just as bad.
Fast whistle steals the goal Not a hand pass, two icings that were not.

It's ok, we are in great shape, need to walk it off, win the next one at Carolina.

His record bid is over thanks to the offensive juggernaut that is the Boston Bruins. It's time for him to come back down to Earth.
You should be watching the B's Ottawa game. They only have one ref, there's been lots of chippy play on both sides and it's 4 to 4 going into the 3rd period. Maybe that's the solution, one less ref, more cheating for goals

Yep, those pesky Sens are making it interesting...I still fully expect the Bruins to make it but hey, enjoying the extra drama.
Same goes for the Kings and their playoff hopes...the should make it in but kinda amusing they need to wait until March to make a move.

Hey BL, why don't the Leaves and Bruins co-ordinate tee times this off season. Maybe they can save on green fees.

What a great game last night .. the energy in the place was insane! And for fans that haven't had anything to
cheer about this season this tear that the Sens are on is just plain FUN! Even if they don't make the playoffs (2 points out )
they have given us a great ride and a ton of fun - but its definitely not over!
Like any streak, the Hamburglar had to get nabbed sooner or later. Hammond is certainly not unhappy - its a
stat most people never even heard of until the media made a big deal of it and he's happy to have his name as a
footnote in NHL history forever - not bad for a mediocre AHL goalie!

Here's some history from this long thread:
It's evolved into a snarky side-joke...back in 2009/2010 season, there was rumblings that Vokoun, at the time, a Panther, was available for a playoff contender needing to shore up its goaltending. In particular, the Hawks at the time was a team on the rise (lo and behold, they won that year) and Moog-Type-S and dom both insisted that Chicago would be stupid NOT to trade for the services of the Florida goalie.
Chicago at that time had a couple of losses that from the BOX SCORE indicated it was all the goalie's fault. Well, I watched the games...I countered that if Chicago shored up their puck possession and overall defensive play, they would be fine to contend. I was told to put down the bong, etc. etc. etc. and well, it then got a bit angry...
Chicago won with Niemi. And then, 2013, with Crawford...both essentially "no-name" goalies.
No one said goalies mean nothing. If at the end of the day, a goalie can't stop a puck, the team is lost. But, to my illustration, at the time, Chicago's problems were NOT goaltending. And while it's NICE if their goalie could steal them a game, meh. They aren't built that way. Their chips aren't all in the crease. They do NOT have a Price or King Henrik, and similar...that's not their DNA.
And this year, it still isn't.
Get it now?

habs give up on avg 30 shots a game, that is one of the worst in the league yet they have 45 wins this year and have the lowest Goals against of all teams. Price for the Hart trophy no doubt in my mind

One Toronto Maple Leafs forward offered a candid take Friday on what it’s like behind closed doors on a team that’s won just six games since January 1.
“It’s pretty screwed up in here,” said a forward who requested to remain anonymous according to Michael Traikos of the National Post.
The unnamed player, who was described as a “fringe” forward, spoke openly about the Maple Leafs’ 4-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Thursday and what he perceived as a slight to the players who worked the hardest on the ice that night.
Traikos cited Sam Carrick, Richard Panik, Brandon Kozun, and Zach Sill as players who appeared to put in the most work in the loss, and who were not rewarded with any extra ice-time for their efforts.
“You’d think things would change,” the anonymous player added. “No one notices what’s going on here.”
Head coach Peter Horachek was critical of his team's effort following the Thursday loss.
All-Star Phil Kessel answered questions Friday morning about Horachek's comments and a perceived lack of effort or care on the part of himself and his Maple Leafs teammates.
"That's his opinion," said Kessel. "We’re professionals. No one is not trying. If you're saying that you're lost."
The Maple Leafs will be in Ottawa Saturday to face the surging Senators.
