Chicago just wasn't ready to start the 3rd OT and it cost them. Moogys Shark fighters aren't fairing any better. 20 minutes for a big comeback.

Who woulda' thunk that after the first game for the B's vs Wings the only players with minus ratings are Selke candidate Bergeron, Norris candidate Chara, Hamilton, Marchand, and Bruins 7th player award winner Reilly Smith. They went a combined +149 during the regular season, all in league top 30 with Dougie Hamilton coming in last at 29th place.

The B's laid a lot of big hits though... lets see if Detroit can take the punishment.

Side note to the rest of the league, defense... it's kinda important... these 2 teams understand it, one of them IS coming to get you.

 

Meh, I like my coaches to get worked up. I liked when Ftorek threw a bench on the ice, I liked Pat Burns trying to get to Melrose. Those are my kinda guys, keep it about 3 notches below Tortorella and I'm happy. Gotta have passion
