1. The bar was crazy then we all just started to quietly drink.. defense just sucked.

2. Next morning I went out to grab some breakfast and saw every Hispanic male wearing the green jersey. They seemed to really enjoy it.

3. I'm sick of all these teams freaking diving. south american teams, Spain, Italy, and oh yeah every single middle eastern team.

4. Is the transfer market going crazy? 45M for Sanchez??? 40M for Neymar? They make Ageuro's 45M buyout look like a bargain. I guess it all started with Torres.

Hey guys, In my opinion neymar deserves every penny. He is an amazing player and is extremely young. He is scoring a lot of goals in the brazilian league which i watch very closely. As for US soccer.....WOW DOS SANTOS IS FAST haha it seems like he was just effortlessly running around our defensemen, something needs to be done, and i dont think bradley has the answer...he needs to go! I went to the Spain v USA game, and that really pissed me off...spain is playing there stars i.e. David villa, Xavi, etc...and Donovan isnt in the game...dempsey isnt in the game....Adu (who has been playing well if i say so myself, a little showboaty, but hes playing well none the less) isnt in the game...what is going through your head?

Dos Santos was running around the our defense because they are slow and they suck. Our best, quickest defenseman is Cherundolo who got injured and taken out early. From there on out it was rape.

Bradley needs to go. It is really, really pathetic how we have a country of 300 million people and can't find good players; and that countries with a population of 2 million people can beat us.

Both. The lack of premier talent, the lack of competent coaching, sound tactics...we suck.

egh, i know we're not top 5 material.. i think coaching is the biggest issue.

after our veterans start weeding out before the next WC.. i think we have a lot of rebuilding to do, and it should start with a new coach IMO.

i've seen glimmering moments of the collective talent pulling together on this team (2009 confederations cup vs spain comes to mind)

terribly inconsistent though, and that rolls back around to coaching.

I think its because more of the raw physical talents are concentrated in american football, basketball and baseball. Football(soccer) gets the leftovers sort of.

An international US coach might be a good idea. Korea really changed after Hiddink was in charge for about 2years. Unlike Advocaat who only had 6months for 2006, Hiddink had plenty of time to implement his system and mentality.
Lippi is looking for a new international team for WC2014

Looks like handballs are now allowed in soccer, at least on the women's side.

Can't even recall the last time I watched a complete women's soccer game, watched most of the game up until the crap call for the penalty kick redo after Solo saved, then we were heading out for lunch. For some reason my spidey sense was tingling and DVR'd it, imagine my surprise when I got home and hit play. Wowzer, what a finish.

I woke up to watch the end of the game a little before Wambach scored. Commentators were talking about the US getting robbed, game was over, etc. That header was amazing and then to close it on PKs was icing on the cake. Marta is a phenomenal striker and I'm glad to see the US women play on.

<---Thinks Hope Solo is kind of cute.

Watched the first half on tv at work. USA was playing very well but so were the French, who had a lot of shots.

Second half it seemed like we were getting dominated then another Wambach header and another goal a min or two later!

Good thing I DVR'd it.

GO GO USA!
