I can't believe Torres....did he really do that??

A few weeks ago in an interview, he mentioned that he's committed to the club, he's not going to leave in the January transfer window, and he also asked Liverpool supporters for their loyalty. What a guy.....

On the other hand, I think Torres has been fit and in-form the whole time. It's just that his heart wasn't in Liverpool, that's why he did poorly for the past months there. I'm sure he will be on fire this coming Sunday when Chelsea plays against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Villa - 34mil
Carroll - 35mil??

I understand Liverpool needed someone real quick but this... and Suarez for 25mil.
Hope he's not a flop like the recent Eredivisie scoring champs Kezman or Afonso Alves

Haha. I just can't wait for this weekend's Chelsea - Liverpoo game.

Abramovich said he plans to spend more in the summer transfer window before UEFA's 'fair play' bs rules go into effect.

And Anelka might move to NY Red Bulls w/ Henry. Hmmm.

Btw I think this past week I've seen videos of more horrific tackles than I can remember... But they were entertaining to watch nevertheless...

Arsenal blow a 4 goal lead and let Newcastle come back to tie the game 4-4 final. ManU loses to bottom of the table Wolves.

Tomorrow's Chelsea/Liverpool game should be a good one!

Fuck. You could tell that Torres still needs to mesh with the other players. He made passes to space where he expected a player to be but nobody was there. Gerrard also had horrible day passing though.

In all honesty it should have been 2-0 Liverpool. How the fuck Maxi missed that goal, one will never know.

It's too bad that Ancelotti couldn't resist the temptation of having 3 strikers up front.

Yea, Gerrard is still not in his top form yet....at least Meireles is in stunning form!

I don't know wtf is wrong with Maxi..seriously.....he has already missed many chances this season.....

OTOH, funny how Torres went into Agger's elbow...lol.

Btw So happy ManU lost, and Newcastle's comeback vs Arsenal was epic, as was Tiote's volley strike.

Also, it gave me great pleasure watching Chelsea lose to Liverpool.
Get Carroll fit, get him to gel with Suarez, midfield is nice with Meireles and Gerrard.
Need to strengthen up on D, and we should be back to being competitive.

Suddenly it seems like Top 4 might not be impossible for Liverpool.

It's amazing how Dalglish brought the team from 12th to 6th in a month. I hope he will stay on a permanent basis.

The next 2 games should be relatively easy...hopefully we will grab those 6 points. Then the Man U game at home will be very important.

Lies. I follow many leagues. Mainly EPL and La Liga, but I also follow Serie A and somewhat less follow Bundesliga; and then of course every now and then check the tables and stats of all Euro leagues.

But I do mainly watch EPL and La Liga games, and some Serie A games if AC Milan are playing (because ESPN/Fox Soccer/Gol only show these leagues, with the exception of some random Bundesliga and Ligue 1 games). Serie A is so fucking boring to watch (actually Ligue 1 imo is by far the most boring lol) but with Ibra/Robinho/Ronaldinho/etc at AC Milan they actually make the games watchable. And how bout Ibra... he has won the league title every single season of his professional career and it looks like that streak will continue... so far. Quite an accomplishment.

Oh and thought I'd throw this out there too - nobody mentions the Scottish Premier League and for good reason, it is a joke imo lol.

But Messi and Ronaldo are on fire... Both with 24 goals already I think?

You should watch more Inter games now. Since Leo replaced Benitez, the goals are flowing. Unfortunately, at the same time, the defense has collapsed. The last few matches have been wild. Last week Inter-Roma scored like this. 1:0, 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 4:2, 4:3, 5:3.

Inter is only 5 points behind Milan, with a game in hand. It's going to be a wild finish.

Plays like shit for the next two years, moves to Parma and BAM does this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCLT1Njf2nk
who knows.. maybe he's one of those players who are good but can't shine in big clubs.

Before I think. Actually I think one was after. Eto'o is keeping them alive.

BTW nice fucking goal by Sneijder yesterday. Nice 'De Jong' impression by the Brazilian guy lol.

I don't know what to make of the Benitez era at Inter. The team was completely listless. Milito, Sneidjer, Maicon, and half the guys seemed like they had no motivation at all. Dunno if Rafa just couldn't motivate them, or they were too satisfied with what they achieved last year. The only player that stepped up was Eto'o. Major injuries to Lucio, Samuel, Sneidjer, Cambiasso, Motta, Milito, and Julio Caesar also didn't help. The team couldn't score goals against any team.

Then immediately after Leonardo replaces Rafa, the whole team changes. Most of the injured players start to return and everyone begins to get motivated again. Our new striker Pazzini has scored 3 goals in 3 matches. Even Nagatomo impressed against Roma. Now we have attacking RB and LB in Maicon and Nagatomo. Defense is a definite weak point right now, we really miss Lucio and Samuel.

West Ham have themselves a new stadium after winning the bid to take over the 2012 Olympic Stadium.

I'm torn. I'm glad we'll have upgraded facilities. I'm glad we'll have better access to the Tube. But neither of those things really matter because I don't live there.

I hate stadiums with running tracks. Absolutely hate them. I also hate that I will probably never have set foot on the Boleyn.

That's one way to suck the atmosphere right out of a match, playing inside a running track.

And I don't see the big deal about West Ham's new stadium since they will be relegated to the Championship next season

Although Rooney always was overrated imo, that was quite a goal. One of the best of the season ... only other one that comes to mind that good was Bale's volley.
