The more pics the better...we could actually make this a brakemotive show off thread. I'll probably be doing mine next weekend.

Quick question, do we have to use brake cleaner to take a coating of oil off the rotors prior to install? I'm guess it comes with good instructions anyway...like, direction that rotors would be going.

Its usually recommended to use brake cleaner to clear any residue off the rotors before installing. At least used to be.
I just received mine today. Packaging was excellent and shipping was pretty fast.
Thanks Brakemotive, keep up the awesome job!!!!!

I don't think you posted the link correctly Deshaya. ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thank you though...I will probably be doing this this weekend. I'm actually contemplating removing the dust shield. Inaccurate did this with no adverse effects and I think it'll show off the drilled holes better since you'll be able to see thru it. Not sure yet though.

Deshaya11...I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you ordered the base model rotors. I looked at MINE and Guitarplayer and both of us have Brembo's and both have 2 rows of drilled holes between the slots.
The rears are probably the same for brembo or non, but the fronts are definitely different.
Good job figuring out how to post, at least!

and how come ROCKSTAR143 has 2 rows of vented holes then followed by a slot while D's has a single set of vented holes followed by a slot? Just noticed that.

So is this going to cause me any problems? I gave Sean my cars' specs, not sure why I didn't get the correct ones for my car...

I am just guess, my friend...but I noticed immediately that my rotor looked different than yours AND I that you had brembo's in your picture. There HAS to be a difference.
How much did you pay?!?!? If it was $200 he may have sent you the wrong one and he can likely rectify.

Should I be driving?

i dont think that it would cause a huge problem. i would take it easy on the brakes. i would probably put the factory ones back on if it were me and wait for a response about absolute safety from BM

^^^agreed...you're probably fine...it's obviously similar. Honestly, I'm just speculating but based on a the couple I've seen...the brembo fronts are dual hole lines...maybe these work too?!
Personally, though, even though it stinks...I'd try not to drive too much until you get confirmation from Brakemotive that an error was made, if so, he may just tell you to leave em on till the correct on comes in. Call them!

Deshaya, for me to be certain about the ones I received also, I went through all 12 pages of this thread.
What I CAN tell you is that:
EVERY TYPE S OR BREMBO EQUIPPED 6MT THAT HAS POSTED PICTURES HAS A DOUBLE ROW OF DRILLED HOLES
EVERY BASE MODEL SET OF ROTORS POSTED HAS A SINGLE ROW OF DRILLED HOLES.
Your call, but you spent the $200 for the Brembo one and I unless he gave you a really good explanation as to why, I wouldn't settle with an "It's fine, it'll work too".
That's just me. And Sean, by no means do I mean any trouble by saying that. I think you are selling us a quality product for a killer price.

Just chiming in, received my order from the GB this morning. Will be installing them in the next few days. Like the last two posters have said Deshaya, I have a type S and received a set of rotors with double row of holes between each slot and a set for rears that has one row.
