Dude that's what's up.
Eric are there any shows left this season that are much closer to town? I'd like to get out for at least something else this year

Jason you might want to consider joining the darkside. Failure to do so might result in some consequences. The consequences, naturally, will hurt your feelings.

I used the truck features twice in three weeks, although one was related to fixing the TL (taking my stock exhaust to the body shop). On a regular basis, I'd rarely use the bed, but the visibility was great. The mileage hit wasn't bad...20 in my TL, 17.5 in the Ram...and the Ram takes regular (until you tune it ). The only thing I didn't like was that you can't take corners or curves fast, but that's such a small percentage of my daily driving.

Arches National Park. That place is spectacular. You could spend days inspecting the different formations, arches, etc. That was an unplanned side-trip. The night before we noticed it was basically on the way and decided to go. It was all good - Yellowstone is awesome; needed more days to really experience it - but in the time we had, Arches is what I enjoyed most.
I thought the grind of driving that many hours, day-after-day, would be a drag after 3 or 4 days. It wasn't. It all worked out better than I expected and our pre-planning was very useful (and remarkably accurate; after taking out unplanned side-trips, our planned mileage and actual mileage were 30 miles different over 5127 miles, about 99.4% accurate).
I'd do it again. We're talking about the Grand Canyon in a couple of years.

Your route was similar to ours. We stayed on 40 all the way and it looks like you guys took a turn in Nashville. I remember when we were heading to the Grand Canyon we weren't really excited but once we saw the first glimpse of it through the trees we were like...'STOP THE VAN STOP THE VAN HOLY SHIT'!! lol It makes you feel really insignificant when you're standing there looking out. It's VAST and monumental. There isn't a photo I could take that would make you feel what it feels to stand there in person.

We went to Yosemite about 10 years ago (flew) and it was the same way. It wasn't as vast/spread-out as Yellowstone, but everything was MASSIVE.
You'd look at something and think it was fairly close .... then you'd see this little matchbook-sized car and realize what you were looking at was farther away, but WAY bigger, than it first seemed.
Speaking of massive, bison are HUGE. Up to 11-feet long, 6-feet tall and 2200 pounds. Hitting one would be like running into a brick wall.

That is fine Eric. If you don't want to respect my wishes not to join that is up to you. Whatever these consequences are I am sure they are ridiculous.

About to roll up to the lego store and eat at that place called PDQ. Something like that. I might..just might roll through the meet and see what's good.
10th Gear
Eric if u like chick fil a then u probably like PDQ . They have them home cut fries that are good. But everything is chicken related like chick fil a.
Dunno if I wanna roll out tonight, car is dirty and don't feel like cleaning it. Hopefully have my new wheel on, just bought some 245/40/19 hopefully fit it a bit bigger than the tire I'm running now. If not got some 235/35/19 if I win this eBay auction lol.

PDQ was IMPRESSIVE! Walked up to the front door and they had some mist coming out of the awnings haha. Digital menus, two new style coke machines, clean restaurant. Food was fast, hot, and delicious. Had a strawberry milkshake. Will return.
Went to the lego store and bought some tiles.
Then went to uncc and was impressed with the amount of stuff that has been built on campus, and was also impressed with the car meet. Bryan I saw your car but never found you!
Right before I was about to leave, I saw that 07 blue GD wagon wrx sitting over in the corner. It was SICK! Favorite car there. I walked up and was like...wait..what the...are those project mus!? haha
