CL I will send you the address tomorrow morning as I am on my phone right now.

I am trying to find a shop still to align the TSX. I want to find a place with an in-ground alignment rack and laser system for the best readout. So far 42autosports which helped build a race TSX does not actually do alignments like I was hoping. Just got done emailing GMP Performance to see if they do. I know I will pay more but I am extremely anal about shit with the TSX. I can't believe that I have not been able to find a race shop in Mooresville at all with a laser system or even a non laser in ground system.

I am trying to just align it on the current wheels right now although I have considered putting it back on the Takatas which I will use for track and set it up at the ride height and camber angles I will use for that so I don't have to do it again.

If I go to ECHM which is pretty much set in stone at this point my track day will hinge on the outcome of my latest ticket that I got in NC. If I can get it reduced it will be a go. If I have to pay full price a track day will be pushed back to later this fall and maybe early next year unfortunately. Guess it will teach me to drive slower on the public roads.

x2 firestone. They have the nice in ground roll on style machines with the lasers. Last time my TL was on it was a long time ago when I first put the coilovers on the 6mt. I purchased the lifetime alignment but haven't been back since haha.

Hmmmm I wonder what the fine print is on the lifetime alignment as I will probably change ride height and camber settings everytime I go to my track setup and then want to go back to riding on my stretched setup.

I remember asking about it when I purchased it and he said you could bring it everyday if you wanted.

Thanks Ben. Ohhhh buddy! I think I know what's inside those boxes. Can't wait to see them on the car. I remember you telling me at cars and coffee what you had planned. Looking forward to making some new photos of your setup.

Got an email back from GMP today and they want $240 for an alignment on a car that has aftermarket camber plates and rods. And $265 for an alignment to custom specs. That is also only for a one time adjustment.

According to FirestoneCompleteAutoCare website I can get a lifteime alignment for $169.99. Now only to decide if I want to get the car aligned like it sits right now or put the Takatas back on and set it up to track specs.

Another good place for an alignment is Modern Nissan Lake Norman. Mark Marske up there does all the SCCA S2000's. The dealer has the very racks you're referring to, because they're certified to service the GTR.

Might not be as good as the lifetime alignment @ Firestone, but Mark only charged me like $75 for the alignment.

Nice pics, Bee!!

A pic of the unmolested back end of my car .

Driving a MASSIVE 2013 quad cab Ram...it's a pretty nice ride, and easily transported my stock exhaust to the repair shop.

Jason - the lifetime alignment at Firestone is great. I had it on my last car and the TL. You can truly go as often as you like, to any corporate store in the country. Also, every now and then, they put it on sale for $120 or $130.

Well daily driving is my stanced setup with lots of camber. The track setup will actually have less camber as it will be smaller wheels with more rubber.

Good to know. Thanks. The lifetime is probably best since I will be changing wheel setups and camber setting often on the TSX. I will have to remember that though for the Lexus.

Got the car aligned today finally and wow it drives so much smoother it is amazing. Went to the one off Concord Mills but they used metal brackets to mount the markers to the wheels so ended up having to go to the one off George Liles Pkwy as the had ones that didn't use metal to mount to my wheels.

I couldn't get the lifetime alignment since they said it was a modified car and if my ride height would change more than .5in it would void it. Definitely sucks cause I planned to use that for tracking.

Guess I will be paying for lots of alignments each year if I start to like tracking the car.

Or maybe I will just set the car up to ride like this all the time.

I remember a long time ago I kept hoping and praying there would be a TL in one of the video games. And then I lost my composure one day playing GT5 when I couldn't beat one of the Nissan versa races. I was like this is fucking bullshit that they would have an entire race dedicated to versas and they won't even put a TL in the game. Haven't played the game since.

Wow that was not advertised well at all. I knew it was supposed to happen by the end of the month but I drove past it at 645am this morning on the way to get my car aligned and it was still closed.
