Evan tell us about the elderly inebriated old man sinking on his boat that you saved yesterday.
Advanced
LOL.
OK, so my friend Matt and I (the one driving the blue truck on Saturday) went out for a quick cruise on the lake to cap off the day Saturday, chill, etc... I had said to him, "Let's cruise out to the far north side where we pretty much never go, just for fun."
We get out on that side past the sandbar, and we're pretty much the only boat in sight. My friend calls out to me asking me if that's a guy in the water over to our left. We jet over and sure enough there is a guy sinking in his john boat. The only thing out of the water was the motor, and his shoulders/head.
I tell Matt to grab the wheel, and I jumped in. We got the guy over on the side of the boat to hold on (Matt cut the engine for safety), and tied up his boat. Once the guy was off the boat it floated up a little but just barely. About that time a pontoon had cruised up and asked if we needed any help. Half the contents of the guy's boat was floating down the lake at this point (including his life vest) so we asked if they could gather it up.
We towed the guy's boat to a nearby beach area so we could pull it up and help him dump the water out. The guy explained at that point that a couple wakeboard boats had come by and he got double swamped by the wake. His boat was fine, but he had just taken on too much water and began to sink. We got his boat cleared out and made sure his motor would still run fine, and he was on his way.
First of all, he was definitely drunk lol. Despite all that lake water all over him you could just smell the beer STRONG. He also kept going on about his cigar box. Luckily the family in the pontoon managed to collect all his stuff. It looked like he was a little too drunk and decided to go a tad too far out into the "big water" with his little john boat. He seemed pretty shaken up, but he was OK.
I'm just glad we were there at the time. He wasn't "too" old, but probably old enough to not be able to swim very far. He probably wouldn't have made it to land. And with his life vest being washed out and away...well you get the point.

Trying to find some more pics but OMG! these cars are awesome looking.
Reminds me how many different cars I would love to build. Geez it will be so hard to pick my next serious project car later in life.

Wow Jason! I am blushing. Lately I have tried harder to get better images so I guess it's working. I can't wait to borrow those lenses from you soon.

I went to copy my IA and Springfest pictures to my laptop the other day and it told me there was not enough space. :| My laptop was never meant to be my picture storage location but it has become that since I left school and my desktop has a virus I have never bothered to deal with. Guess I need to get working on backing everything up so I can begin to rebuild it so that I will have plenty of space for picture storage and can begin improving my technique and my eye.

Think my high mount brake light took a shit . I'm hoping to borrow my boss' tomorrow to test my theory. If I can't, for some reason, anyone on here willing to let me test with yours? Should take less than five minutes.
And yes, I checked the fuses; everything else on either fuse related to the HMBL still works. Because of this, I'm also assuming the roof harness is ok. The connection between the light and the roof harness is good, too.

Hows it going guys, too bad I couldnt make it to the meet, Im a couple continents away... anyways, I will have a comptech kit, water injection and some other fun stuff to install when I get back stateside. Does anyone know of a good tuner in the eastern NC, northern SC area? I will be using an AEM F/IC

I know of a good tuner in the Charlotte area. Is that near enough to where you're located?

It is only 2.5 hours. That is close. The events I have gone to the past 2 years I think only 2 have been that close.
Ricer Fest??? Figured I would post some of the rice from last year

ECHM takes place maybe 30 minutes from me, and I still avoid it like the plague.
