Same normally. ECHM is the first Saturday of next month and then I work the first Saturday in August.

Not sure about NC but in PA it would fail me if I didn't have amber reflectors near my headlights. I got around this by buying two orange circular mailbox/driveway marker reflectors and sticking tiny square magnets on the back and sticking them by my bumper.

No. There is nothing in the NC general statutes relating to auto inspections that specifies having any reflectors of any kind on the car. The inspection procedures are spelled out, and they only check for those things. I don't have amber in the front or red in the rear and I passed every year for the last four years.

You're the second person to ask me that today. No, I haven't. It's not that high on my list. I'm going to e-mail the local pull-a-parts this weekend, maybe, to see if one of them has a TL with one on it. If not, I'll e-mail some other junkyards around the country that I know have a TL with the part (probably next weekend), and inquire about prices. So I'm two weeks out from fixing it, at a minimum if I can source the part locally, longer if I have to source it from elsewhere in the country. If I don't like any of the prices I get from anybody, I most likely won't fix it.
