It's always something. That's what I've always admired about the older classic car crowd. It seems like those guys are always so respectful and just get out to have a good time.

Agreed. It's the dumb people with TSXs with retarded loud exhausts that get everything shut down.

Oh wait

I mean I was surprised uncc even let the meet happen in the first place. At the meet last Monday I was talking to one of the guys that started the meet(forget his name) and I asked him how they were making it happen and he said they know a lot of the uncc policemen.

Yeah, the meet was never sanctioned because after the street racing bust on 485 the campus refused to sanction any car meet ever again. The Monday meets have actually been going on for 3 years but had never been more than 15-20 cars, mostly the Mazda guys.

Okay guys so as Tyler will be getting here this week I'm going to be buying his springs from him, and I've been shopping around for somewhere to get them installed. But being a brokeass college student who is leaving in a week I'm trying to avoid spending $350-$400. So I was wondering if any of you would be interested in a mini Charlotte area meet to help me install them. I'd gladly pay/supply for a couple cases of beer for everyone to make the work some fun and even buy some hotdogs and hamburgers and we could grill or something. If anyone would be interested in helping me out I'd greatly appreciate it. i know i haven't met up with anyone yet but i think this might be a good opportunity for us all to hangout since i wont be able to go to ISO... Im in Mooresville and i think a lot of you are closer to the Charlotte area, so rather than everyone drive to my house if someone would volunteer their house so everyone wouldn't have to make that journey all the way up here i think that would save people some gas and more people would be willing to come out.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping out thanks!

I wish you were buying coils as then I would offer to do your install. I hope you can find someone to do them but I heard to many bad stories from using spring compressors. Wish I could be of more help.

I have the option of either using Tyler's oem struts with the springs already on them or taking the springs off and putting them on my oem struts... Whichever everyone thinks would be easier is probably the way I'll go.. I guess doing that would eliminate the need for a spring compressor right?

Definitely get them with the spring already on the strut...otherwise compressing the spring becomes a hassle

The only issue with my setup is that it has about 120k miles on them. No leaks, tears, or funky noises though. They would still be on my car if I didn't get a decent deal on the Megans.

I think that's what I'm leaning towards doing now if you guys think that would be the easier way to go

It still makes me mad that I can't have a real AP2 in the game

That why I'm going PS4 and GT6

So Tommy. I can do those. Now comes the next issue though. You won't be around for the weekend of ISO and I won't be able to do them this weekend. When do you leave for school?

Does anyone dare me to step up to a 275/35/19? Currently rolling on 255/30s. I think a 275/35 will feed my meaty tire fetish rather sufficiently.

Gonna send some messages to my cousin and Mike Ngo to see if they can pull on my fenders. I'm basically gonna ask them to have the fenders pulled out as much as they can and then I will see how much room there is to play with.

Having an AP1 with AP2 bumpers is close enough for me

I should probably write an email to the guys making GT6 and let them know that bad things will happen if they don't put a fuckin TL in the game.

Send that letter to Turn 10 who produces Forza as well. And tell them I want more wheels

Are there any Friday night meets in the Charlotte area?

It's probably a pipe dream, but I think you should be able to pull fenders and change wheel specs in these games too...

Too bad the development cycle would be like 12 years
