What is everyone doing this weekend?

 

Trying to get the CL into the 7's in the 1/8.

 

Not a whole lot Eric. Just replaced my master cylinder yesterday and bled the brakes, and just got the windshield replaced today.

What are you gonna do this weekend.

This weekend... no real plans. probably one of those low key weekends. Do some work, workout, grocery store/walmart, eat good. I'm definitely gonna be instagramming lol I know.

 

Work...house work, yard work, some work for my buddy's company...and I hate work . Thankfully I'll offset that with an equal amount (if not more) of drinking and vegging.

Hope everyone is good ! Been dam busy with work, and the kiddos.

But I did find time to run all new power and audio wires thru out the car.

Then switched the old system in my Integra.

Been looking around town for a speaker box for the JL Audio woofer but nobody has what I want, so probably get one online.

Also I have yet to upload pics from our last meet. Soon though...

 

Mowing the lawn then heading to NY for what ever is left of the weekend.

 

Is there a meet coming up anytime soon??

movies are getting wayyyyyy to expensive lol fak i mean a movie and a drink will run be over $40!!

now they have the new theaters up where you can eat and drink while watching the movie. and it's tempting as hell but $15 for a pitcher of beer is ridiculous.

10 Days/9 Nights. Should be ~5200 miles. Last one was 3200 in about 4 or 5 days.

That will be a nice trip. Went on one of those when I was 19 and remember it very well. I wish I had a camera back then to document everything. Took I40, went to the grand canyon, las vegas, Yellowstone, mt rushmore, gateway arch.

 

The thing about Fatz I've always wondered...it's right next to the Kilt, and they both have the same turn in...once you turn in, how do you direct your car to Fatz instead of the Kilt? I'm sure it's good, but I just don't understand .


If you want to see a movie at the movies, go during the day. I went to the movies for the first time in three or four years last weekend...saw Man of Steel with some friends. Went during the day where all tickets are $5 ($8 for 3D).


That's a hell of a trip! Be safe.

 

Just passing through. Will stop in KC the night of the 4th and out again the morning of the 5th.

I've PM'd Steven Bell about meeting for breakfast on the 5th. I'll let you know if we get something set up.



BTW - Jack is right. Daytime (matinee) is much lower price and usually less crowded.

Yonaka or function forms. The function forms I had on the CL were great, not too stif but not soft. There's also Godspeed but I've heard mixed options on the brand. The yonaka are $500, godspeeds are $540 and f&ftype 1 are $600

That is awesome. Right when I was about to graduate high school we made a trip out west of 19 days long. Took a similar route as well. Don't remember doing Devils Tower but did the other 3. Also went down and did Four Points, Grand Canyon, and Grand Tetons as well.

When we did ours that was right as I was getting into photography. I think it was the first trip I made with my D200.

The theater in Mooresville also has discount rate on Tuesday Nights same as day time prices $7. So that or Friday during the day is the only time we go. I then make Megan bring a big purse with and we stop at the dollar store across the street for some candy and drinks before we go in. Movie night for less than $20.

 

Ok so ISO metal in motion is August 17th at charlotte motor speedway along with streetwise drift and then dankfest 3.0 in Winston-Salem August 25. Who's going?

 

Not until you get another set of Weds and keep them this time.

 

I will be at ISO most likely. Probably will make the gf drive the Lexus again like last year although she won't be thrilled.

 

I will attempt to go to both.
