On a side note, I saw an ILX this morning. 
I was driving and noticed an Acura ahead of me. It wasn't clear due the rain and slight darkness. As I got closer, I realized it looked like a Civic. Then I saw ILX. 
Not the direction Acura should be going.

More is not always better in the Tranny catagory. The TLX itself is beautiful if they would bring it out exactly like the prototype. I still say Acura has plenty of time to screw it up though and dumb it down. Hopefully I am wrong. Until they bring out something more powerful though I don't think I will be back to Acura.

It would definitely be awesome, but wouldn't seem right if they won. The other manufacturers might have hurt feelings if a semi luxury 4 door sedan comes at them like that...with a V6.

Going to go out on a limb here and say I doubt it has a V6 in that race car unless it has many turbos in it.

I'm pretty sure it will have the engine that it will come equipped with in the actual car. J35 with some shit done to it. The TLX GT looks awesome with the widened fenders and big ass wing. I want it in gran turismo really bad now.

The very first thing I would do to that car is the beak delete. It would get dremeled the fuck out if it's all one piece.

Grand Touring (GT) includes a variety of production displacements with no maximum. Forced induction is permitted, and is used to equalize individual models. Sedans, coupes, roadsters, and two-seaters are permitted. The cars can be rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Class horsepower range is 425 - 525 bhp.[3] (317-391 kW). A majority of the vehicles used in this class are comparable to those used in the American Le Mans Series GT classes. FIA GT3 class cars are now approved starting in 2013, with the Audi R8 LMS, Mercedes-Benz SLS, and BMW Z4 GT3's approved for 2013.
The big question I have is, is the car going to be AWD or will it be modified (if allowed) to be RWD? If AWD, will it be SH-AWD (if allowed) or a more traditional AWD system?

I am hoping it is some sort of twin turbo J35 that way they will have some testing done to bring out a twin turbo awd with DCT for the type s model. Hey they finally made a decent looking car maybe they can add a decent powertrain. One can dream.

I love how the GT car has the real headlights as you know those completely clear ones on the TLX prototype will never be production unfortunately.
