I cant wait for IA. I havent figured out if Ill be there all weekend though.
I want to be able to record slow motion stuff and rolling video with it. I also want to be able to do other video as well but have been holding out hoping Nikon will make a proper successor to the D300/300s that does great video but isn't full frame.

Video is so hard to do when you are driving though lol. Guess I am going to have to teach Megan to shoot and I will have to do the edits.

Hopefully you will be able to make it down and roll with us Friday during the day. Trying to get a big group together for some good pics and video.

i have the d3200 and i learning something new everytime i pick it to take a picture/video. but i feel that my sony point and shoot camera, can shoot just as good of quailty in video.
Yeah I have heard that about it too. Hopefully they make an extra battery charger so you can charge a battery outside the camera and I can do that while driving so I will maybe only need two batteries. The only thing keeping me from the D3200 is my D300. Hoping Eric has his D90 still and will maybe loan it to me for shooting video for the weekend along with the GoPro if I pick it up.

That main reason for wanting an SLR for shooting video is changing depth of field I love it in video.

We might be able to work something out. You going to be picking up a slider? Also you still have the D90 cause I know you will want the 3200 on the way down and I want to have Megan capture some rolling video to go along with the GoPro action.

I know a slider needs to be bought for sure. I still have the D90.

The light came back on after a 3rd start. I wonder if it would have stayed off longer if it wasn't for the 3rd start.

Sweet. Time to make an awesome IA video. Cool you should charge it up and bring both or just bring it with as I know my batteries will work in the D90 as well as my D300.

I think you should reset it again and take it for a nice 30min drive and see if it stays off.

Maybe be later, with a smaller more powerful one. Mids i got doesnt require that much power. If i dont like them i will just throw them in my other car. Wanted some Focals but maybe later shits pricey.

Haha I promise you that even with the little I pushed it that it is really loud in person. If you didn't have your speakers up at about 3/4 volume then you didn't really experience how loud it really is. I also never really got to get above 5500rpms on the roads I was on. I was already going a good bit faster than I should have been.

Hey now have to get past the break in period since it basically a brand new charger. When they rebuilt it the only thing used from before the casing and inlet funnel.

I am going to finalize where I am staying tonight and then I will get the info out to everyone from here. Not sure I want to post it publicly though so hopefully they won't run out of space.

Thanks Eric. I think I am going to start working on an intro for the video over the next couple of weeks. Going to do some various shots garage door going up, cold startup audio recording, and rolling out of the garage and driveway. Need to get lots of angles.

Still working on a plan for most of the video angles I want to do.

We should do some of the TL then as well.

I've got some LEGO updates for everyone...

Same guy from Taiwan that made the big order the other month requested a 7 Eleven, HSBC Bank, Reebok store (said he works there haha), and a Ferrari Dealership. We busted out the 7 Eleven last night, and the Ferrari dealership is starting right NOW. I'm excited about it because the pictures I found look really cool...most of the dealerships look amazing.

Thanks Tyler. I've been using the 60mm 2.8 ever since I got it. Shooting the sb910 straight up which is reflecting off the ceiling.

The dealership is well on it's way now. Just gotta be clutch and get rrr done.

Oh my dear lord this ferrari building is pretty sick so far. Looks modern as hell. Has a glass mezzanine for a car to sit on. The hard part will be to design some minifig ferraris. Wasn't planning on it but I guess it has to happen since i'm building the building.

Tyler go buy a speedlight, they're not too much.

Now i've got to figure out which Ferrari to build. Maybe F40 since it's boxy and has unique features.

Do you build sets for Lego them self or do you do these on your own ?
I would think you would get pieces cheaper if you work there.

My 5yr old son must have a couple thousand easy in Lego sets.
We build them, they stay together for the day then the end up in a draw that's just full of pieces and even though we keep all the instructions they are rarely ever put together again.

Ever thought of making larger cars to show more detail ?
Something like 1/5-1/4 scale.

I obviously still play with Lego's too.

I design them on my own and sell them online. I used to work at the LEGO store at concord mills and my old coworkers do a good job of discounting bulk brick for me. One of them told me there is a way to order by the pallet and something about a $10,000 buy in. That's something I might do in the future.

All of those pieces are worth money so be sure to keep them,...don't give them away haha.

I usually build on the minifigure scale but one day I might build a larger model of a car. The bigger the scale the easier it is to get the details in.

What set/s does your son want next?

Yes they shut down a guys entire website because he drew an automotive rendering of what he though the Enzo replacement would be and he put an actual Ferrari badge on it.

He gets the power rangers, ninjago, the super hero one's,skylanders,if he's into something we usally get what ever he's into in walmart till he has everything he can get, then he switches to something else because he gets everything.

I would like to see some bigger cars myself like what we drive.
Although I probably would not want to peel off for what it would cost, it would be sweet to have a matching vehicle.
I've looked around for Acura cl R/C bodys for my 1/5 scale r/c cars before with none to be found.

I'm surprised you have not tryied to make a replica of your ride yet.

I once saw a TSX R/C body and was going to build one so I could get it but I have never been able to find it again now.

I see this black TSX every night when I get off work at the same time. Black , lowered , yellow fogs. Not as nice as yours Jason. Oh and no lipkit on the car.
